En fait, quand tu lis les bookins tu te rends compte que Sookie est vraiment comme Anna la joue. Ses sourires archi tirés par les cheveux ont une vraie raison d'être. C'est Sookie qui raconte son histoire dans les livres, t'es dans sa tête, du coup, tu comprends beaucoup mieux ses comportements et encore une fois les réactions et les jeux très chelous qu'elle peut avoir (au départ je me suis posé des tonnes de question sur son jeu ... ) mais vraiment .. quand tu lis les livres, tu te rends compte que Sookie est vraiment comme cela .... Pour Bill, il s'appelle Compton, du coup ça me suffit haha

I tried to get away and not read it, as I knew it would make my blood boil. Anyone going to this man's church is equally as wrong and filled with unjust hatred. These people are NOT Christians. Christians do not behave this way. Sadly, this is way people pull away from organized religion. Sadly, this is why people pull away from God. They do not wish to be associated with such horrible people. And who can blame them?

And what's wrong with the higher ups in The Baptist Church, why have they not spoken out against this, and stripped this man of his credentials. He surely does not deserve to speak in the house of The Lord.

I am repulsed beyond comprehension.

You are 200% right. It is a fun hobby, I have meant some cool people along the way, learned some new things, and am making a little fun money. All in all...not bad. I began blogging as a way to connect with others with similar interests, then it grew to a means of using the gray matter to learn how to do some new things, so making pocket change is just a little bonus here and there.

YES! I got the boxes yesterday!:) The directions were AWESOME! I\'m a teacher and often find directions that are poorly worded, difficult to understand, etc. And having the actual number in each piece was fantastic - Seriously, putting these together would be a good job experience for elemetary age kids, or even adults in a sheltered workshop. I don\'t think there was one wooden connection that was hard to decipher. I would bet there is a training program somewhere that would love to assemble furniture like yours - for a nominal fee. It would be worth it to buyers with time constraints, as well as employment for people needing work.

I guess I would have to talk about my ricer. It saved Thanksgiving. My first year of cooking thanksgiving all by myself had a few problems. I bought a ricer to try it out on the mashed potatoes. One of the problems was that I over cooked the potatoes. The ricer saved them by helping to extract the extra water and still make them fluffy! YAY

I am a homeschooling mom of 5 great kids, ages 10-20. All of our kids still live at home and we are happy. We are Independent Baptist and believe that you let God tell you how many to have. He will and you will be happy with them. I love spending all my time with my kids and they all want to homeschool their kids. Our oldest 2 finished school at 16 and went on to Technical College and both have great jobs. Children are a blessing. I feel sorry for all the kids that are born to people who let daycares and schools raise them and are so caught up in their own hectic life that they never have time to sit down with their children every day and have a meal and simply talk to them, about what matters to them. I am 100% happy with my life and wouldn't change it with anyone!!

I seem to spend a huge amount of time searching for fonts. I'm getting pretty good at it now. My worst fear is getting a fax with an unnamed font saying, "Do you have this?" Argh. I often find myself browsing through old type catalogues just to get a name of a similar font - then I can search for fonts like the mystery one.

You have my sympathy. I used to suffer from migraines a lot - to the extent that on two occasions a doctor was called to my home to give me a shot of strong painkillers (ah, bliss!). I don't suffer so much these days due to two reasons, I think. The first is that I'm getting very good at determining when one is on the way. The earlier I take medication, the better the outcome. If I leave it too long, I am too sick to swallow any tablets ... I'll just throw them straight back up. And the second reason is that I think, in my case, it's hormonal. I think my metabolism is gradually winding down now that I'm beyond age 40 and I'm sure there is a link. I've noticed it with my mother and aunt too who both suffered years ago but, since menopause, the attacks abated dramatically. So perhaps menopause brings blessings.

The things that trigger migraines for me are strong light (like driving into a rising sun), alcohol, too little or too much sleep. I find that codeine works well and I retreat to a darkened room ASAP.

Anyway, like I said, you have my sympathy. It can be so debilitating.

The boquerones in oil and vinegar are so good. Although they don't look very appetizing to my foreign friends at first, after they try them, they want to have them again and again. Unfortunately, it is not commonly available in the bars in the Bilbao region.

I have always eaten Egg Custard Tarts in Chinese restaurants that serve Dim Sum. They are very similar to these Portuguese egg tarts except they are not caramelized on top. Apparently these Portuguese egg tarts are ancestors of these Chinese egg tarts (see <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egg_tart). ">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egg_tart). When these Portuguese egg tarts were (re-)introduced to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore in the late 1990's, it caused a big craze and people would line up outside of bakeries to buy them. It was like everyone had try them to see if there was a difference between the Chinese version and the Portuguese version. I was one of them. Subsequently the craze died down, and you can find these Portuguese tarts only in a handful of bakeries in the region. Only the Chinese version is still widely available in just about all the bakeries.

The Chinese decides if it is a good custard by how flaky the shell and how light and smooth the custard is. The custard of the Portuguese version was a bit denser than the Chinese version. Other than that, they are quite similar. I prefer the bite-sized light and fluffy Chinese custards with a good pot of Chinese tea. Oh, did I say tea? I meant a glass of good Spanish wine.... :)

Many Asians do not know Spain is one of the biggest wine producers let alone it produces excellent wine with excellent price performance ratio. The Chinese prefer to deal with Chinese or at least Chinese speaking people but it is very difficult to find Chinese speaking people in Spain let alone Chinese speaking people in the wine business. On a lighter note, I like to pair chilled Albariño with stir fried prawns, with only garlic or with green asparagus.

Wow Troy. I have no doubts in your ability to communicate beyond this plane. Still this is very specific. I know Michael does not predict and so I have to assume these are all valid posibilities rather than predictions. I don't know Christian and will not try to judge his experience. I guess I am glad I rarely remember my dream.
All I can think just now is that I will try to hold positive thoughts and evergies at the front of my conciousness in the weeks ahead

Mookie, I agree that disclosure of a seller's financing is a necessary consideration for potential buyers but your judgmental editorial of what they might have done with financed funds is what is unnecessary. I have two boys matching me in height. I can relate so much to your post. My husband is a soccer coach and he/we understand testerone! ha
He has a new book coming out in June (Bethany House), "No More Jellyfish, Chickens or Wimps" and it is on raising courageous kids in a nice world.
We just went to Focus on Family and did a radio show with Dr. Dobson and told him how helpful his "Raising Boys" book was. I'm sure you have read.
Our boys have learned to pray for courage. It's too easy for boys to wimp out in today's day.
Sounds like they have a great Father too.

Three kids in soccer, music and tennis. Youth groups, too!
I'm fortunate with 2 of my sons my husband coaches.
But I love the times I tote my kids around, and get to hear about their days and talk to their friends in the car. I learn a lot :)

My mission field right now is my family and schools and the kids friends, and their families! The list goes on and on (can't forget my neighbors!)
Our oldest son (9th grade) is going on his first mission trip to Mexico in June. I'm so thankful for the opportunity.
I love how God says to us each day when we read his Word, "Come, Go and Grow!"

I can relate to the fear you speak of. I was riddled with it throughout my entire childhood up through age 19 when the JWs got ahold of me. The one thing they did to help was to alleviate my fear of hellfire by a lengthy study into believing the Bible their way.

Now this was some relief because, as a young child, I had no idea how it was that people did ordinary things like kept a job, ate a meal and did anything outside of sit around and worry about going to hell if that was in fact what could life could potentially hold. I'd ask people, "Do you believe in hell?" and they'd say "Yes" but they'd be off living their lives as if there was no hell up ahead when I thought we should all be quaking in our boots. I used to wish I weren't born for eliminating that horrible fear.

Now the JWs can systematically convince you using "your own copy of the Bible" that hell is something other than a place of permanent torture. And sure, it's great not to believe in a firey hell but as long as you have to believe that Bible is real, you still have to worry about God's anger management issues.

His sense of justice, you have to admit, is a bit scary. He required the Hebrews to make sacrifice of innocent animals to pay for the "sins" of humans. He allowed for multiple wives, 700 for Solomon, but don't hold that ark wrong or you will sorely piss him off! Curtains for you!

The entire old testament is pretty much a story of genocide after genocide to wipe out everything in the path of Israel. They of course had to kill everything male and anything female that had know the act of lying with a maile but of course, it's okay to keep the young virgins for themselves.

There were something like 600 laws that the poor Isrealites had to spend their entire life spans under, including the requirement for two young pigeons or two turtle doves to be sacrificed per woman per that time of the month. One bloody legacy!

Then just think of the Bible stories. One after another shows us a scary personality if we were to believe these are really the position God would take. Look at the story of Abraham and Isaac alone. Here's a man who spent his lifetime faithfully serving God, doing everything in exact obedience to him. He left everything he owned, left his kinfolk, turned down riches, hell, at age 99 he got himself circumcised per God's request. Then after all this show of faith, God needs to "test" Abraham's loyalty and asks him to go and "make please a burnt sacrifice" of his son Isaac? Is "God" insecure of what! Testing, testing, and more testing. I'm not really sure if you love me!

So, "God is love" and does any of that sound like perfect justice we could expect from God? Is it really reasonable that we, as humans, are so much more compassionate and just in our thinking than the divine creator? Or is it possible that all that stuff written in the "bible" is really the work of humans?

What I don't understand is why someone would go on an exchristian site and then wonder why they don't get a warm response when they try to sell their god. The people on this site have not only read the bible, but have studied it. You can't prove that your god is the one true god any more than I can prove that fairies live in my back yard. I don't need christianity to live a moral life. And I don't need christianity to get through the hard times in my life.

Dear Laurie ...how sweet and human of you to take the time to express yourself..I want to give you a big Hug,,I have to laugh at myself I read the beginning of your post and saw my mane and cringed..LOL..we are all human and for various reasons we express ourselves differently..but I so appreciate your explanation and Im soo sorry for the hurt you've been thru in life..I don't think the sexual molestation I endured was as painful as maybe your or Trisha's but I know it effected my life to the point where I was terrified to spend the night at a girlfriends house for fear there would be another occation of a man touching me and kissing me @ 11 yrs old you know it is wrong..I was always very protective of my Daughter and I will admit it did me no good because the perp was my father in law..I have a 8yr old Grandaughte rin California and I worry that something will happen everday of my life..Im terrified she will be snatched and murdered,,Her Father My Son and Daughter in law are very protective of her, Thank God..Laurie Im very touched by your post and again Im so very sorry for what happened to you and to Trisha..those horrid memories never go away..do they? no they never do ..so now I know where you are coming from..I understand and thanks once more..for sharing with me..and the others as well

Hi Emily Iam not good at posting links Im far from computer savvy,,however when Jacques was coming up for release Denise and Jacques Brother spoke in his defense and it states in the paperwork that his brother is an Attorney,,it also states he was ok'd release based on his PO's advice after 4 1/2 yes rather than the 20 he was given there is some back peddling as to whom is responsible for the early release,,,if you google michael jacques you will find the article as I did.,Denise said and I quote "He is a good Father and a good Uncle and has made a good life for her and her children..yes at the Funeral Courtney did speak and they did sit on the other side of chairs..at least it appears that way..this is all I know of to help you..even tho I said I wouldn't be going to VT any time soon it is not a reflection on all Vermonters and I was more joking than not,,sorry I don't mean to say your state is a safe haven for freaks..sorry if you are offended,,,I live in a small town in Mt and when I say small Im talkng less than 150 population..we have our qo SO's and freaks here too..I hope I helped. I only wish someone had warned all the girl in the 2 homes that there were dangers in both homes but on the other hand how or who would do the warning? obviously not the sisters..I do believe if Jim Bennettt knew of any risk that could come to Brookehe would have either threaten the Mom with taking Brooke away or called LE..he seems a very together man and responsible for his chidren..I sure wish the 2 Mom had used better judgement in who they alowed around their girls.they both have to live with it now that everything is out in the open ,The horse is out of the barn so to speak,

I believe the attacks on the Mother are because the average,normal Mother wouldn't allow her child around a Convicted sex offender for any reason. Ever, It is hard for me to understand how this can happen..while I doubt she knew what was happening..there were signs..Ky Jelly, vibrators? the Aunt comes home to her nakes child wrapped only in a towel? 14 years old Please People who was protecting them then? My sympathy goes to her father who fought for all of Us in Iraq and came home to the horrrible death of his baby girl! time will tell the Mother and Aunts roles in this..if Iam wrong I will certainly say that Im sorry but something is rotten in denmark here,,the entire story reeks! The Mother and Aunt knew these men were sex offenders and allowed their daughter around these men.even with another family member there they weren't protected? this breaks my heart for this child she didn't stand a chance!

What really ticks me off is that there are so many of these people in a prison where heat is provided them. Three squares a day is provided them. Clothes are provided for them. Medical attention, television, all their needs are provided for them. And all they have to do is sit back and breath for the rest of their lives. And we get to pay for it. They don't even have to worry about how they are going to buy food or pay the bills.

I don't understand how someone can take another life. It's way beyond my comprehension. I really have a difficult time with the death penalty too. I think the death penalty is way too leanient for these people. They should have to endure the same death they inflicted on their fellow human beings. That should be the law, that whatever means you kill someone with you should die the same way. Why don't we just put all the murderers together in a cell and let them do away with each other?
Should we have mercy? No, they didn't have mercy on their victim. Where are the victims rights? What about the victims feelings, the pain and suffering. The loss of life of the victim. The truth is that the victim don't want justice. They just wanted to live out their natural life. They didn't have any choice. What is wrong with us that we are allowing people to get by so easy for such horrible crimes. We put them away for the rest of their life and then we end up supporting them. With cost and living expenses these days the average person struggles to do this for their own families.
None of it makes sense to me. No wonder there is so much depression and disfunction.

This is wonderful, compact replacement. Also love the example on their website of video schedule/timer for things like hand washing - since doing that for specified time period is a huge issue.

This is a very comprehensive site. Guided reading, all kinds of games with letters, sound matching, part to whole, patterns etc. Can read books with or without animation (since it would be good for intial read through - to illustrate the concepts - but probably want to turn the animation off when trying to read the words.) Works with touchscreen well - so would be good on a SMART board. Says for younger children, but I found a lot of the material ok for older kids with special needs as well.

I've done some "googling" for research on AAC use and age. Can't find anything "con" - only pros. Early intervention shows up. The fact that early AAC does NOT impede natural speech - if a child is going to attain it. (I remember this from days as a Downs Syndrome parent - all the studies that showed pairing sign did NOT impede speech production.)

Like Alicia, I had also thought about the lack of studies using dynamic screen devices since technology is fairly new and these are longitudinal studies.

However, the following site had a great summary of some of the research a few years back. Many citations and what the common fear or myth is behind "will AAC impede natural speech" and the research findings. And how not having a way to communicate has devastating effects on areas well beyond communication. Gets into AT and AAC.

Patrick - how many computer courses were you required to take as a special ed major? You said in a post to the yahoo BM site a while back the key to running your class was the use of technology - and I thought that was great - but you are not the norm. Remember the people on these sites and blogs are already a step ahead - using the internet like this - most spec ed teachers we know are not even aware of them - much less on them. (especially "old school" teachers and SLP's) AAC and Assistive Technology in general is so important - not just for non verbal kids - but for all spec ed students.

Computers were added as an integral part of the regular ed curriculum LONG ago - but only now is special ed catching up. I've heard this said about inclusion and adapting curriculum not being where it should be as well - it's not taught in most colleges (at least not here) - so how are the teachers to implement?

And from what I've read on other blogs - we're not the only school district who's IT department is NOT responsible for the SW and HW of special ed kids. That's a real problem - the regular teachers have on site IT support - but most spec ed teachers are on their own for these "orphan" systems.

So the average teacher is not tech saavy and IT dept is not taking a role so....then there are the AT/AAC specialists - but they are few and far between in most ed systems - too often it's an outside consult that parents or teachers have to fight admin for. (and as many of we parents have found out - a lot of the teachers, OT's etc know AT/AAC should be suggested - but they're told not to for budget reasons - until the parents squawk.)

And let's touch on the insurance issue for a minute. We had an AAC eval done by the HEAD of the SLP dept at a very large hospital system declare that our 7 year old non verbal son was too low functioning for an AAC device. And no one would go against the head of the department so....I implemented SDPro at home on a touchscreen, designing the screens so he would be successful using and navigating them - and then he took that screen design to school.

An addendum. I only voiced my opinion on VSD's for primary communication. I'm actually in favor of VSD's for fun and teachable activities. On Adaptedlearning.com, Maryannsdad posted a fun Christmas VSD. For instance, if you touch the plate of cookies - it asks you to pick what you're going to leave Santa. So it's a fun exploratory activity - the user is not trying to find something they need to communicate.

Very cool presentation. Easy to follow, and I agree with the message. I have not joined FB, I sometimes use Twitter; but have a hard time trying to make a message short enough...I like the interaction blogging brings.

Lately, I have some trouble with trying to find the widget though on apparent member sites which is annoying. I like to visit 5-10 at a time, going from one on my blog to the next and so forth. I keep getting short bouts of that because I'll hit a site that I got to via the blogupp widget, read and comment, and prepare to move when I realize they do not have a widget. That seems inappropiate to me. They're getting traffic but are stopping it dead for others.

I've read several times about labels, tags etc so folks only see blogs like there own...I really hope it doesn't go that way. All others are, keep this one different, keep it unique. People are interested in more subjects than the one they happen to blog about that given day. Through ones profile you can find people in your category, in twitter searches, in blog catalog searches, in entrecard searches etc. etc. I like the variety of this widget. I also like the simplistic nature and hope you don't make bells and whistle. Bells and whistle take time, which detracts in my opinion from what is good about this widget. There are plenty of time consuming social networks that take an mountain of time to get any benefit from. I like this one, just the way it is.

I just joined yesterday and so am not real familiar with how it works, to know any good ideas. But, as a newbie...can I say I like it the way it is; simple and quick. Some of the social networks out there are so cumbersome and time consuming that you need to be a techy person to get much from them.

I do wonder how possible any reporting might be. I have no idea how many times my ad has been displayed today or where and that might be nice to know. I would also echo Skova's statement about the voice. It's very hard to understand. I concentrated real hard, it's too fast he mumbles. I heard him say something about 3 sizes to pick from; but couldn't anderstand beyond that. Totally missed the part about our stats until re-reading your answer to me on twitter. Thanks. But, now more questions. lol Not sure I know how to read my stats. I see impressions, visits sent and imbound impressions, as well as visits.

I spent quite a bit of time the last 2 days clicking and visiting folks with the widget, from page to another, reading, leaving comments inviting folks to visit me etc. So, is visit sent when I visit someone else? If so, it seems much less than the number of blogs I visited and left comments on. There were a few blogs I visited from the widget that I didn't leave comments on (too technical for me to even make a response...not my strength), is being there still counted? Or is the imbound number the one counting my blog walking?

Disappointed thus far I've not gotten a visitor from my blog walking; but will keep trying. I love having new folks come by.

Just added to 2 of my other blogs, so am looking forward to understanding the stats better with your help.

AND, one more question please. Is it ok to use the widget on a Today.com blog? Thought I should check prior to doing that, as I know many widgets aren't on the ok list for them.

I have a group of kids who have been wanting one- not begging, but subtle hints- they know it is not in the budget but they dream of one day having one. With the economy the way it is- money is even tighter and definitely this is a luxury, as will the holidays this year..budgets are tight and well I would love to surprise them with it, we always cannot get what they want or husband cannot do because of disabilty but we try and we figure we have some of the best kids in the world because they stay out of trouble and love their family. They would be so overjoyed to win this!

hi TechGeek. i found a hack in the registry to activate kaspersky (KAV & KIS)through regedit. if we are ready keep deleting existing beta key every 30 days and re-activate the application using single click, then this hack is useful. I tested in XP/Vista. it works fine for mr

first we need to "disable self defense" in setting/option in kaspersky.
secondly if we exit the application(kaspersky) would be better.
third go to regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/KasperskyLab/protected/AVP8/environment/ProductStatus
Forth change "Release" to "Beta" press OK
refresh and exit regedit.
fifth go to KAV OR KIS license press merge/delete
sixth press on new option as "ACTIVATE BETA VERSION".
remember this will activate only for 30 days. later 31th day delete the existing key again follow fifth order.

if this post looks good for u use it, and tell it to all of your fans. A little help from my side as i always use your guidelines. I am Also a fan of You.

I really never understood what google reader was, so guess I'm safe from those pit falls. I've never understood though why anyone takes the time to read and not leave a comment. If you don't leave a comment no one knows you were there. Isn't the whole purpose of blogging back and forth chatting? I also get miffed when people respond to me in private emails instead of reading and commenting. No one blogs with the hope that no one will read or post a comment;;;;;so it just seems silly to me.

I leave lots of comments, feel like I can't expect people to visit me, read me, leave me comments if I don't do the same. So....I'm with ya 100%

I've not yet read or understood what bloher is, can you give me the 1-2-3 of it?
