in BusySync: All The Syncing You Will Need on I Bought a Mac
Hey Scott I enjoyed your review, the thing I'm to need is to find a way to sync with my outlook calendar on our company server. My company isn't supporting the iPhone yet, I thought it would be awesome since I took this new job in Vancouver and that way I wouldn't have to get a crackberry.

Not sure about that one Ted. I personally have been using MobileMe and BusySync together. I have Outlook on my PC synced with MobileMe, along with iCal, and then BusySync keeps Google Calendar updated.

in The iPhone 3G News RoundUp on I Bought a Mac
I intentionally held out buying an Iphone because we were all told the new, better, faster,etc... version was coming out. I really feel let down to be honest. My wife and I are already on a family plan and I will not be able to afford an iphone because of the monthly rate. My bill normally runs 130 to 180 a month. By adding a 3G iphone to my plan, it will double my cell bill. So now what? In my opinion nothing compares to the Iphone. Do I try the "alternative" iphone like types? In some way, Its like wanting lego's for Christmas but getting some other brand that looks like legos, but none of the pieces really fit like they're supposed to, the colors are a not right, and at the end of the day its just cheaper not better. I'm tempted to try the palm centro, like I asked, is cheaper better?

Ted Byars I have a Palm Centrno right now and it is a great phone I really like it but being that i am a apple lover now days, i have been craving a iPhone. I am sorry to hear that you will not be able to get the iPhone. I would honestly say that you would prob be really happy with the centrno. it is not a iPhone but it is a good alternative!!

in Ask iBAM … ? on I Bought a Mac
Sure, sounds like a really good idea to me. I'm always looking for random stuff. For instance, I had remembered reading somewhere where if you're on the web and need the definition for a word, you could hit a few key strokes and launch the built in Dictionary in Tiger. The only problem is at the time I had forgot to bookmark the page, s off I went on a "safari" looking for that particular page. That was really frustrating. That's a great feature that I think is sometimes overlooked. Thanks for puttin' it out there
