Apps still ran fine. I'm glad you found my idea interesting. I might even implement it soon.

Regards,

Mikey.
www.rustylime.com

Re: PC Gaming Is Expensive and a Hassle, But I’m Lovin’ It

Amen. My bro has a 360 and the same games I play on the PC have been dumbed down for the console. Very uninspiring and less challenging. That's why I always say consoles are the 'arcade' equivalent of PC games.

PC trumps consoles every time for performance and future proofing.

The other thing to consider is that console owners upgrade just like PC gamers, and in fact can cost more. Here's what I mean.

Did you own a PS2, and now own a PS3? That's technically upgrading. The only way you can play the new generation games is by buying the new generation of console. The money I spent upgrading my PC to be able to play Crysis in all it's glory was cheaper than the cost of a brand new PS3. So who's spending the real money here?

Re: Bill Gates Won’t Buy an Apple iPhone

BG was always going to give a response just like that. Ask Steve Jobs if he is going to buy a Zune and you can bet his answer will be pretty similar.

That said, it's insane to expect any major software to be 100% bug free at launch. Patching is just a fact of life, and not a big deal.

People can bitch and moan all they want about Microsoft, but thier operating system is on around 95% of desktops around the world, so they obviously patching doesn't seem to worry us that much :-)

Re: The Top 10 Life Ruining Movies of All-Time

Ruin (~noun): "a fallen, wrecked, or decayed condition"

Your title is very misleading.

Re: Not Too Much Fun: A Review of the Ronald Jenkees Debut Album

Good review. Sounds like you are just as enthusiastic about this album as I am. I reviewed it a few days ago as well and also did an interview with Ronald.

Re: Not Too Much Fun: A Review of the Ronald Jenkees Debut Album

Thanks Adam. Ronald was a great interview-ee :-) Nearly all those questions were submitted by our readers which was pretty cool.
