I'm hoping for a showdown between Congress and the Executive branch over the illegal power grabs of the current administration, hopefully to be settled by the Supreme Court. Regardless of who wins in November, it'll take years to undo the mess created by Bush. If you think today's crisis in the financial markets is bad, you ain't seen nothing yet!

Actually, the library question was answered and the answer was guilty. Palin fired the librarian and reinstated her shortly thereafter due to public outcry.

As for comparing any politician to Jesus....that is absurd. I haven't heard any media comparing Obama to Jesus. I do, however, remember a disgusting red,white and blue bumper sticker seen on many cars in the South during the last election that said......Bush/Jesus.

If you actually READ what Jesus had to say about politics you'd discover that he wasn't in to politics at all. He clearly taught the seperation of Church and state. Having said that, Socialism is the only political system on Earth today that comes close to Christ's teachings. But again, He didn't align himself with any political movements at all. One thing is for sure, since you brought it up, He most certainly was NOT a republican!
