SF is the place to be if you want to work in technology. You should try meeting up with justin.tv :)

Re: Justin.tv is on right now.

"Everyone would have their own .tv domain name, and we could watch anyone we want."

I think it gets even better than that. If many of the video streams are hosted on the same domain, a user can bookmark different people he wants to watch, and then possibly watch multiple streams at the same time. Users can build communities based on who they watch and reccomend other people.

Re: It’s a monkey with a camera

Hey! Thanks for using jumpcut. :) I agree, it is oddly addicting.

Here's an interview I did with him last week: http://jumpcut.com/view/?id=6C7AED92D96911DBBD1...

Re: What is Lifecasting? Ask Justin Kan

hahaha, that is pretty much the most incriminating screen cap you could possibly get. Just to be clear, I was teaching him a few boy scout tricks so when he survives the apocalypse he can build a shelter out of rope and wood.

Re: Remix your videos with Jumpcut

awww! Yea! Jumpcut is happiness.

Just to clarify there is no storage limit, but each file has to be less than 100mb.

Re: No Words

What beautiful photos, and I love the movie you posted. Most people don't know this but yahoo was also part of the deal and look! They're in production! For everyone!

http://tv.yahoo.com/collections/3946;_ylt=Apa7d...

These tv pages are (imho) much cleaner than the Hulu pages, and the player is slicker.

Re: Trying the Switch: My Macbook Pro Experience

I'm very interested in what you like/dislike about your new machine. I am somewhat opposed to it, only because I hate those awkward events where everyone feels compelled to stare at their phones because they have nothing worthwhile to say or do. Given that the cell service is still quite limited, we are still a few years away (hopefully it'll never happen) from Burning Man turning into one of those events.

Re: Yet Another Interim Theme

my vote:
improv
iPhone
play-doh
incentive

Hopefully by the time you write tour iPhone post I'll have made that video from when we went to buy them together.
