in What is the best relationship book you’ve read? on Carrie and Danielle
The Soul's Code: In Search of Character and Calling by James Hillman. If you know who you are are, how you're wired, and present your self portrait in an authentic way...how can you lose? Well you really can't...and it's my goal in all my relationships - mates, friends or my accountant. If the person across from you gets you...great. If they don't, they can learn...great. If they choose not to, then maybe you should switch grocery stores and edit your contact list.

So easy in words...it's listening to yourself that's the hard part. Read the book...and don't paint your red flags green.

in What’s the best concert you ever attended? on Carrie and Danielle
Indeed...I just saw Dave for three days at the Gorge in Washington...his voice was a bit off - think he was a little sick - but his band - now with new members - was one of the most incredible experiences. Musicianship was over the top!

Impossible to have a single favorite...Top 3?

1993: Soundgarden at the Commodore, Vancouver...it was a timing thing...and the debauchery.

1997: Capital Records industry show at the Rage, Vancouver - Radiohead...they were frighteningly perfect.

2005: Dead Can Dance - Seattle...for the magic.

in What is something completely luxurious that you dream of owning? on Carrie and Danielle
Well...my list couldn't be any longer!

First, digital wallpaper so I can change the colour of my walls at will.

Second, a personal tailor with unlimited budget.

Third, a teleporter.

Four, an ostrich boa for Friday nights!

in What do you find sexy? on Carrie and Danielle
Passionate Expression! Insight - awareness. Side of the neck right bellow the ear. Five foot nine. A creative mission. A woman who camps well. Humility. Little to no make-up - Au naturale! A woman who drinks single malt. The perfect long iron approach. When the drummer and bass player find the pocket. Whats the opposite of a pack-rat? A fully stocked organized clean fridge. Openness. Principals. Independent introverts. Intelligence. Dedication to craft - the doers! Initiative. Affection. Prosciutto. A nine dressed up as a three - when a woman doesn't care about making an impression. Comfortable silence on a walk while holding hands in the middle of nowhere...lost even!

in If you suddenly inherited $10,000, what would you do with it? on Carrie and Danielle
Sadly I would most likely juice up my bank account due to some heavy travel expenses over the last few months...it's been a fantastic summer! With the rest, I'd throw a big dinner party, then buy a coffee, pizza, new jacket and boots...in Milan!

in What’s your favorite eco-friendly habit? on Carrie and Danielle
Well I'd have to say first and foremost I try and avoid using paper at all costs. I don't have a fax number, rarely print anything and I can't remember the last time I sent something in the mail. Second I would say food shopping - buying processed food adds to the decline of our environment in so many ways, not just manufacturing. In the end, we also get a health benefit...its a win-win situation.

in How would you spend your last $20? on Carrie and Danielle
A cheap bottle of red, crusty bread, tomatoes, basil, garlic, reginanno and a handful of fresh pasta, a few cheap candles, a pack of matches and my last quarter to call my date.

in How has astrology influenced your life or a decision? on Carrie and Danielle
I'm so on Danielle's vibe here. It's simply another toolbox item to assist in my understandings and perspectives of how I roll! I'm a Capricorn to the core and like Carrie, it is hard for me not to dive in the deep end of Astrology...but doing this with everything (and some days I do!) can be messy and time consuming. So I try and do it in bits. I Try!

I guess for me, it helps set a tone and a base. Getting out in the real world and interacting with all the different types of people and their workings promote the asking of questions - the best gift whether your life method is in the form of the hunt, the journey or old fashion fate.

Growth, happiness and clarity are my personal goals and with my base and the answers to the questions that are posed, I am able to conclude on what works for me.

Astrology is part of my base.

in What’s your beauty dilemma? on Carrie and Danielle
As I get older, polish seems to be taking the front line. STYLE has yet again become an important aspect of my life. For me, toning up to the next level, maybe shave more often (!), buy a new accessory or two or a new pair of shoes! Other then that, I think I am ok...and thats a great feeling!

in What do you regret? on Carrie and Danielle
I regret few things...which is a real relief. I know what it's like to have that sensation and it drives me crazy. However, that being said, I do regret not listening to my gut in a few situations. I punish myself when I hear my inner voice saying "I told you so" after the fact. Whether it is a piece of new clothing I never wear, a business decision that doesn't align with my goals or getting rid of something sentimental because clutter has no place in my home...I sometimes regret the little things or the band aid solutions that don't serve the higher purpose. Thanks to you guys (C&D), I now realize (well I always did I just need a refresher every other year!) there is a simple solution...have Faith in my first thought, instinct and intuitive nature. Funny - so clear to see now...but a challenge in the moment. The irony? SS: Creative Faith

in How do you fall in love with the world? on Carrie and Danielle
I fall in love when I see creativity and something spontaneous in nature. When I am at my root and awake - I fall in love with the gifts around me - food, friends, family and self. How? Faith in my perspective and a willingness to accept everything I deserve and worked so hard to achieve. Taking a moment in the moment.

in What’s your best travel tip? on Carrie and Danielle
Bring your own chop sticks and/or cutlery if you are backpacking...and hand sanitizer! Don't over pack because you know you are going to need room for all the crap you are going to buy! Always have your Lonely Planet/Let's Go book at your side. Sport the Canadian Flag...even if you are not Canadian! Bring your wits so you can make the best of it!

in What are you afraid of? on Carrie and Danielle
The sensation of being cornered or repressed - small places - heights - not having a choice which is ridiculous because we always do - clowns that smoke cigars and drink whiskey - losing my keys - regret - losing my sense of intuition and insight - illness.

in To whom will you show your appreciation today? on Carrie and Danielle
Benita. For the patience, the effort, the courage, the smiles, the love and sharing an equal passion at the dinner table!

in What’s your favourite form of exercise? on Carrie and Danielle
Golf...without question. And no, not when I am driving around on a cart. I usually walk when I play. With clubs on my back, specially playing the mountain courses, it is a great workout. It is truly amazing what a good course designer can do with the landscape - always some form of beauty to look at and inspire you. After 18 I usually walk away with better insight and visualization skills, a full body workout, and new found techniques to remain calm - getting me through yet another round without tossing my 5 iron in the trees!

in What is the wish behind your biggest complaint? on Carrie and Danielle
This hits home for me. The art of projection comes standard in us all but at times we forget to watching our own film. The one thing you said about being part of it all is the core of my faith. Thanks for the reminder!
