in 12 Things to Stop Doing in 2009 on Chris Brogan
Good post Chris; I like both lists.
I would add:
start "it" now & stop procrastinating,
start sharing & stop being selfish,
start encouraging & stop tearing down,
and don't quit, if you get off track, get back on and keep going.

The campaign has gotten desperate and is trying whatever tricks they think may sway voters.

I don't think it's coincidental that palin's image has changed. That's a pretty low tactic

"The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. Right?"
Yes, keeping the main thing THE main thing is correct. However, there may be some, like me (I hope I'm not the only one), who didn't have a main thing when we started. I saw a twitter demonstration, decided it was the best thing since sliced bread and jumped into 2.0 head first. Since that fateful afternoon in February, I'm blogging, uttering, digging, jotting, pinging, plurking, friending, following, powncing, videoing, streaming, lifecasting, microsharing, photographing, commenting, and so on and I'm loving it.
I'm learning, engaging, exchanging, growing, meeting, interacting and conversing with people around the world I would have never known.
I've discovered that this is my main thing and I'm working it everyday.

Cartoon is hillarious. I put up outlandish, off-color, strongly opinionated & downright crazy stuff on Twitter. Forget hacking email, I've known for years that I would never be able to run for office. Twitter has only dug the hole deeper and wider.

Yeah...you should read my post about inverse selection. If my twitter posts upset a potential employer, then it probably isnt a good match anyway

I wouldn't call the treat itself a PMS sign, as much as the fact that your eating at 1030pm. The chocolate chip on the bottom of the foot, I would call that being frugal at 1030am; however, being that is 1030pm, yes, I would say PMS is making itself to home.

in 8,000 Twitter Tweets - a video celebration on Dave Delaney : Dave Made That
Do ANY of these folks even know what tweets are? Great video...creative, funny and a way to celebrate tweets without tweeting.

Thanks Shannon:
Yes, it was funny to see that they had no idea what I was on about. Some
thought it was something dirty and were worried about being in the video :-)
Reminds me of a t-shirt I once saw: "I twittered your husband". Classic.
Cheers.

in The Importance of Risk on Chris Brogan
I am a risk taker, nothing ventured, nothing gained is how I try to live my life. Risk is one of key ingredients to discovery, Christopher Columbus (albeit, he got lost & bumped into the Dominican Republic), Neil Armstrong or Barack Obama. You have to push yourself out of the normal and rountine into the unknown and unchallenged, only then will you find who you really are and will become.
