Very interesting! Also, when information was tightly regulated it was easier to keep track of the credibility of information than it is now. Thanks for sharing the review...

Ah, so there is someone other than me who's watching BSG now, on DVD. I loved Season One, but haven't been able to bring myself to get started on Season 2. Especially since you need to buy two different DVDs for the complete Season Two.

I actually found this list useful, especially #2 and #3. Thanks for sharing!

As for the video of the cow, heh, that hardly qualifis as a kiss! :-)

Well, well! Wont sell as well as the Bush pen-holder, but still... I would have had her smiling a little lesser (does she smile as brightly in real life?). :-)

Phew! That's a relief to know. Is there anything safe now-a-days at all?

BTW, great blog! My first time here, but expect to return periodically.

Looks like they may have been 'real' after all. The pics are no longer there.

Heh! I like it, but don't think that will scale. :-)

I live in India, where everything ends up being recycled in the most interesting ways. I have seen old CDs being used as reflectors in auto-rickshaws (a three wheeled taxi), for example.

in The Best And Worst James Bond Films on Webomatica
I am another fan of the Bond flicks, and unlike many have also read and enjoyed Ian Fleming's books (which are quite distinct from the movies). While I do like Sean Connery, I enjoyed Roger Moore in The Spy Who Loved Me (as a teen I loved all the gadgets and elaborate sets in this movie), and Pierce Brosnan in Golden Eye (which I agree has one of the best Bond girls too!). I was, like most other reviewers, impressed with the re-boot in Casino Royale. Particularly liked the way the movie ended. With "The name's Bond, James Bond" right at the very end.

Congratulations! Some feat, given that I was feeling proud at having made (only) my 100th post recently. :-)

Nice post! One that most of us can identify with; the 80s , whacko music, and fascination with imported stuff from the Gulf/US.

Cool! I had decided to do a periodic round-up of blogs that I like, and this one sounds fun too. BTW, while I had heard of you/your blog in the blogworld, somehow I only read it some detail only now. Great blog! Expect to back here periodically now.
