I'm glad that you've had much time to think and to learn from God's wisdom. It's amazing how much I can take in when I'm at a place wher ethe noise and distractions are kept to a minimum...

I don't mind at all that we waited til I was 25 to have kids. I'll be in my early 40's when The Girl graduates from HS and mid 40's for The Boy. Still, I seem to be pretty young when I look at all my friends who waited until they were in their late 20's just to get married.

Lord willing, you've got lots of life left in you for your grandparenting joys! And you'll be one youthful Grandma when your time comes!

And it's the cheapest, most immediate vacation you can take!

I usually want to cry at the end of a vacation too, but that's because I know that I'll have a lot of laundry to do. Have a great rest of your trip!

Oh, he'll be able to make some money these summers if he plays his cards right...

I think we've all been there. I hate it when I find myself acting so sure of what I need, only to find that God had other plans that were so much better.

Though you may not see the reason for no right now, rest assure that God has the best of everything for you in the palm of his hands.

I can't leave a response to her while I'm at work, but I'm praying for her and the entire family. May she know God's comfort and peace even when it doesn't feel like they're there.

I think it's the long time bloggers who are trying to find their balance with life and blogging. When we first started, it was all fun and new, making new friends and keeping an onling journal of sorts for posterity, memories, validation... different reasons for different bloggers. Now, we're finding that blogging can take up too much of our lives if we let it. So go, have fun and enjoy life as you're supposed to enjoy it - by living it. Just make sure that we get to hear about it occasionally because you know that we love you girl!

Oh your list covers most of my basics... I'd just change out Grace for #5 and Mr. Right and the kids for #6 and I'd be good to go. (Hey, when you don't have any, the support is quite superfluous to say the least.)

Ahhh, but how much healthier, prettier and viable the plant is when pruned early. If the Pruner waits too late in the season, it could kill the plant.

I was just talking to my mom about the fact that we won't be running away to anywhere. With the gas prices the way that they are and the car replacement, I think we'll be enjoying quiet a few nights on our back porch, thank you very much.
