Many corporations give money to organizations like Planned Parenthood. One anti-abortion group posted a list of such corporations at: http://www.cogforlife.org/ppsupporters.htm

I always wondered how people who demand that the government should ban abortion have no moral qualms giving or taking from organizations that fund abortion. Perhaps this could help in your research.

Congressman Murphy, it seems like people frequently conflate the military's fraternization policies (prohibiting unprofessional relationships among individuals of different ranks and among contractors), and the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. This serves to confuse both servicemembers and civilians as to the purpose of military regulations designed to encourage discipline and trust.

Assuming your legislation (H.R. 1283) passes to ban discrimination based on sexual orientation in the armed forces, do you think both service members and the public at large will have a better understanding as to the rules the military sets forth regarding personal relationships?

Well tbh i might be British but i sure as hell hope Barack Obama wins for the US, he sure sounds more sincere than John McCain.

I have big respect for McCain for what hes been through in the line of duty, but having to endure what Bush has put almost the whole world through, another 4 more years of that is enough to make anyone want to build there own space shuttle and try colonising mars with out NASA.

TBH rob, ive played with the Iphone, love the OS on it, but its rather limited, with camera features, as i know you like taking photos.

If you wan a phone similar but the same as the iphone with a very good camera, try out the LG Renoir, Ive got one and its damn good,

fully touch screen with the added bonus of Dolby for mobile (first device with it) making MP3s sound very good, Div-x and X-vid codecs already installed so if you rip your DVD's to Divx you have full movies on the go, Internet access via Wi-fi or the faster version of 3G which is HSDPA (up to 7mbps) 8 MP camera with high quality optics, x16 time digital zoom that works surprisingly well. panoramic shots, smile shots (phone wont take the picture unless the subject is smiling) blink shot (phone wont take the picture if the subject has its eyes closed) macro shots for close ups.

Auto focus or manual focus, touch focus (touch the screen in the area you want to focus on, and release your finger to take the photo.

Phone has too many decent features to mention,

Also don't pay attention to Megapixels, unless your planning on blowing your photos up into posters, 8 MP is way to many already. its a marketing ploy.

Ok the interface isn't as clean as the Iphone but i doubt you will even notice, it also has tilt sensors like the Iphone, and a Xenon flash to go with it , with red eye reduction if you want, and the video recording is excellent quality, with the ability to record at 3 speeds, 5fps, 30 fps and 120 fps and in different formats.

anyway, enough of my babbling, i sound like a sales person lol

I agree with "John Bates Thayer" - you don't have a right to own a slab of metal, but if you smelt that metal into the shape of a gun, suddenly you have rights.

I wasn't aware that the words "self defense" appear in the text of the Second Amendment. Perhaps the "penumbra" of the amendment guarantees that right. Then again, LaPeirre has argued that the 14th amendment grants human rights to guns.

I guess the NRA believes that criminal defendants have a God-given right to demand a jury instruction that when they murdered someone in cold blood that it was in self-defense.

But don't you think its also a stretch to say that Iraq and the Iraqi people were devoted to ending American lives? Our own government has conceded that they did not have WMD capabilities and that they posed no threat to America. Our official reason for going to war is currently that Saddam was a horrible dictator tyrant that needed to be removed to save the Iraqis. I fail to see how necessary it was to take down Saddam's regime, when there are much more pressing matters. Why didn't we go into North Korea, a country that poses a real threat, that actually has nuclear weapons, and that is incredibly hostile towards the west and towards America in particular?

Chris Stewart has had enough time to prove himself in the NHL. He is a flat out bust. Please, please send this guy down and bring up someone that can actually produce in that roster spot. At first last year it looked like Stewart was going to really bring it, but he did a quick fade. He just doesn't have what it takes to be a true NHL player.
On another note, when will Anderson get a rest in favor of Budaj? Right now, the Avs are once again on pace to give up a ton of shots vs. the Habs. Anderson's been fine so far, but he's going to wear out if the Avs don't rest him a bit more.
