I do not understand the question. Do you mean alphabetically in a card catalog or listed in the notwhatyouthink page? This is confusing and therefore frustrating.

I challenge any city manager to go down and cross 128 at the rotary! Its not safe. If we are going to force kids to walk to school and burden families with more costs the city should make it safe.... Let me know when you want to try and cross Mayor Kirk.
We all want to watch you run across the rotary. GOOD LUCK, were waiting to see its

in THE LORRAINE REPORT on Gloucester Daily Times
How about this, a smaller fire dept. maybe half the size and staff of the current dept. Open all the satellite stations that were closed and supplement them with trained volunteers. Budget training for the volunteer dept. with the reduced size of the force. I think the city would get a big response to take part in this NEW program. Our community has many men and woman that are contractors, mechanics, fisherman, bankers and many others professions that I believe would participate. Also think how it would bring our community together to all work together to make a difference!

in McKay questions report's dire findings on Gloucester Daily Times
I would like to see all departments City Hall, Fire Dept, Police dept. DPW, Building Inspector all up at fuller school its big enough. It is centally located, and the Mayor can manage her departments correctly and just maybe we as a city can get control of the city... Its obvious the Unions are in charge. Look at the healtcare mess not long ago, the issues with the GPD and GFD.

I posted a couple of weeks ago that the GPD and the GFD should be relocated to Fuller. That is a perfect location and the school is big enough for both. Then turn central into elderly housing and th police dept. into a hotel...

in Letter to the editor: State board let city down on charter vote on Gloucester Daily Times
I am curious as to how transparent the lottery process for the incomming students will be! Will students have to Qualify? Will everyone get to put there name in a drawing and be drawn in a PUBLIC Venue? or will it be behind closed doors? What will be the appeals process for those qualified students that are rejected?

in Fort zoning on hold — but hotel is out on Gloucester Daily Times
why not a hotel down Rocky Neck... Maybe over by the piant factory... that why all the tourist can look across at a WORKING waterfront and really enjoy the views, maybe take a photo to bring home.. Or do the ROCKY necker not want it in there neighborhood???

Necker
You really are confused. Rocky Neck had the Rockaway Hotel. The pool, bar and views were spectacular - a real nice place for the public to go and enjoy. The hotel was a benefit to the community and was replaced by condominiums because it could not survive the off season. There is no land available for sale near the Paint Factory to put a hotel. I suppose the area where West Wharf used to be could be an option for a tourist motel that would also not be used in the winter. The Paint Factory should be relocated by barge to the Fort where it would be a better fit to the character of the neighborhood.
takinthebait
I think the guy that owns the big brick house just above the Paint Factory should donate his house and land to build a hotel there !! Why he is one of the major players (in the background), behind the Harborwalk and the gentrification of Gloucester.

in Letter to the editor: City's trash bag plan is well done on Gloucester Daily Times
I would like to see a transfer station for Gloucester and forget about the curb side pick up...at least give residents the option to bring our trash and recycle material to a local spot and drop them off. I dont have the numbers but I get if Waste Management could just pull up and drop off one dumpster and take one away it would have to save the city some money...

confused...are you familiar with Rockport's transfer station?
I think this is what you're referring to?
I believe they (Rockport residents) have to purchase a yearly sticker and then it's throw as much as you have away. They also have an excellent recycling program at the transfer station along with a swap shop!

The regulations are so unclear and continually changing, I do not know how anyone (fisherman, regulators or enforcement) can understand them. If you ask 3 different people the same question at NMFS, I bet you will get 3 different answers or interpretations. How can they enforce, police and regulate when they do not understand what, why or when they need or should be regulating.
