Now that's a fancy looking gizmo. Seems to come with the pricetag of a fancy looking gizmo as well. I still use my dollar store alarm clock which has served me well for over 3 years now. How's that for an investment, lol.

Re: HD DVDs are going away. But should you buy Blu-ray?

This type of thing always seems to happen to me; I finally get around to getting an HD DVD player and now it becomes totally obsolete. I'm not exactly exited to having to get a blu-ray player especially considering the prices which you have just mentioned. Boo-urns.

Re: My $.02 on Apple’s Response to Microsoft’s Response

I absolutely love these Mac vs PC commercials. However, as funny and effective these commercials may be, I just can't justify opting for Apple products (macbook/ipod) when there are far less expensive alternatives out there that can do the same thing.

Re: No Worries, Netflix, You’re Doing Great

I have never tried the netflix service. But I have tried Blockbuster's version of this and it was incredibly disappointing. Firstly, my movies and games almost always came later than they said it would. Secondly, they jacked up my monthly rates which is why I am no longer with them. Thirdly, anytime I called their customer service line I always got a rude and unhelpful response. Blockbuster really pulled me off this mailing movies thing. But, after the reviews I've been hearing about netflix, I may just be giving them a shot. The convenience of getting movies mailed to me might just be too good to pass up.
