I guess one way to look at this is people go to republican side, versus the democrats come to people. What I mean by this is when you see clearly on what both are about, most fit it is easy or have an affinity for the republicans. Where as the democrats have to constantly keep telling you what they are going to do for the constituents (more government programs, etc). If everyone would take care of themselves, their families, the neighbors, their neighborhoods, and their communities and not look for someone to take care of this for them, we would all be better off. We also would need less government. Just say no and do it yourself – you will be glad you did!

I completely agree with you and I am a former Democrat. I do not want government controlling my life and I look to no one for my needs other than me and God. I believe in working hard for what you want...it's not how much money you make, but it's what you do with it. The American people are slowing losing all of their rights in every aspect and they don't even see it happening. No, we do not need more government programs. The more handouts the government gives you, the more they control you...duh!
