I live on berry too... and I still think they should make it pedestrian first. I’m one of those people walking with a stroller when I’m not driving, and it makes the neighborhood way better to have a place to walk and see other humans walking. I park there all the time, and moving a barrier takes a few seconds, so what.

Just got rid of the spigen because it scratched so easy, feels like you need to reconsider this recommendation. Application is easier, but the screen was so scratched within two weeks, I just switched back to the previous recommendation, the maxboost glass. Yeah, I wasted one screen when it went on wrong, but they're almost half the price, and a week later it has a lot less scratches

Just bought the spigen, it was super easy to install compared to previous recommendations, but scratched almost immediately. Feels like its not as good as the maxboost glass that I purchased based on the Wirecutter recommendation for my iPhone X.

So bummed to see they removed all the roadblocks on Berry this morning. People were walking and riding their bikes as if it was a typical day, and now there's just all these cars driving through the middle of it. So sad to see this perk go.

I purchased the duo on you recommendation and have really enjoyed the variety of meals I can cook with it. My problem is it’s not reliable, the seal often doesn’t seal correctly, the slower cooker function is way too low temp... it still feels like a first gen product. Is there an upgrade that gets everything right?

Thanks for the feedback, I was bummed when I turned it on, I didn't even check the resolutions before I bought it. Just assumed that you wouldn't recommend something that would be such a big step back from 4k :) .

Maybe a 32inch 4k option would be at step up from the HP Z27 and Dell 2715Q that I have already? I almost bought the Ben Q that you recommended, but there's a ton of reviews saying that they had to RMA their units? Was considering this as an alternative https://www.bhphotovideo.co...

Help! I just bought the Acer XR342CK bmijqphuzx because I found it at a good price, but when I set it up I was really frustated by how blurry / jagged the fonts looked. This feels like a huge downgrade in quality compared to the retina screen of a mac or the Hp H27 i have at work or the Dell 2715Q i have hooked up to my mac mini. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a configuration issue?

I'm using it with a 2016 MBPTB and hooked up via a Caldigit TS3 plus via display port. Thanks so much for any help, I was hoping this thing was going to be a big step up for video editing!

I bought the Lumix 7-14 for its small size, but returned it because it didn't seem sharp enough or bright enough for my needs (both photo and video). I won't use this a ton, but it sounds like this Laowa is a good compromise thats fairly close to the Leica / Olympus at the wide end and much smaller?

Do you know if the GH5 has improved stabilization? I think IBIS is a big deal, but after testing the G85 I didn't think it was nearly as good as the Olympus EM1 Mk II , so I'm waiting to see if the GH5 ibis is better

1) what's the benefit of the NAS vs having drives hooked up to the computer?

2) I have an Apple AirPort Time Capsule 1tb internal and that can take an external USB drive. Could this serve the same function?

3) could I do 2 x 4 tb external USB drives hooked up to the same computer, some sort of software to keep them as exact copies of each other, and then a backup to the AirPort Extreme drives?

4) do you do any offsite backup?

I currently have an West Digital older western digital my book duo ( 2tb but raid to 1tb), and a Lacie Quadra 4tb (raid so its only 2TB). I do a lot of photography and am starting to get into video.

I've had challenge with both (one had a drive die, the other has issues with the USB connection and disconnects randomly) and am trying to figure out what a better solution is going forward.

Is there any advantages to using RAID drives like I am using now (the drives are setup so they mirror each other in case one fails), vs just buying two large separate external hard drives and having macOS software on the desktop copy all files from one to the other so they are duplicates?

I could just get two 8TB My book drives, or whatever ones you recommend? I'm using a 2010 Mac Mini for now.

I'm in a small two story loft that gets quite hot upstairs and the nest is downstairs, so I'd like it to base decisions off of the upstairs temperature sometimes.

I'm upgrading from the 3+ silver and trying to decide between the 4 silver / 4 black. My interests are in higher dynamic range and potentially using 4k to do image stabilization in an app like premier. Would one be a clear choice over the other?

Was just looking for some guidance on my setup. I've currently got a Mac mini setup connected to a 4tb LaCie quadra usb 3 ( which just seems to have died) and a 2tb western digital mirror. I've also got an AirPort Extreme with 1tb to use time machine to backup my mac mini and my MacBook Air. The main purpose for the usb drives connected to my Mac mini are to store redundantly a big archive of photos and old family videos.

Would a Nas be a good solution? Would it be more reliable than my current setup, or do I not need it since I have a Mac mini connected to usb drives?

What do people recommend for the ipad mini 4?

I just bought one and previously I was using an ipad mini 2 with the apple smart cover and the logitech keys to go. I liked having a separate keyboard that I could bring with me if I was typing. The keys to go where not comfortable enough for serious typing, so I'm looking to upgrade.

I also can't really tell whats compatible with the ipad mini 4
