The first modern black superhero gets his own show on a black network .. .Oh wait a second . . .BET isn't a network.  It's the commodity that Bob Johnson sold so that he could, surprise surprise, be another black man obsessed with basketball.  It's also the place where they replaced the BET Nightly News with "Cousin Jeff," which was disgracedful and subsequently canceled as well.  So what we are left with is 24hrs of booty shakin, bling bling, College Hill and Hell Date.  That is when they are not airing poorly produced award shows.  Are we really surprised that this collection of sycophants can't get The Black Panther right?  It would have been more suprising if they HAD done a credible job.  Shame on Marvel for trying to score political points by turning a beloved and historic character over to these morons.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">espnnwk</dc:creator><pubDate>Fri, 01 Aug 2008 12:46:12 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
