Jericho fans are sending 1,100 pounds of Peanuts to Hollwood Reporter this week to highlight recent Save Jericho efforts and displeasure with antiquated Nielsen ratings system.
In yet another Nuts to Nielsen effort, Jericho fans want to highlight the ill’s in the currently antiquated Nielsen ratings system and continue to highlight various fan based initiatives such as the Save Jericho Billboard in Hollywood and the recent Jericho Cable TV ad airing in Los Angeles. The recipients of this wave of friendly Peanuts is the Hollywood Reporter. Previous Nuts to Nielsen targets have ranged from Nielsen Headquarters, Variety Magazine, Oldsmar, Florida Nielsen facility and the LA Times. Peanuts are ultimately donated to charitable organizations. It’s alarming in 2008 that 99.999% of TV viewers are not counted by Nielsen yet are the currency for an estimated $2B in advertising dollars.
Several networks are believed to be interested in Jericho season 3 based on recent Jericho Producers comments. Rumors abound on a potential Jericho Movie and also an investment group led by James Siminoff is interested in reviving Jericho on a on demand pay per view basis. not true, and your saying that here, is scary. what if fans who are not in the know see that jon? Come on, stop with the splash words. Jericho is where ever it is with Junction, we have NO IDEA what they are doing, in talks about etc. You have to stop saying this stuff, its sensationalism.

Its a revolutionary concept that is going to happen soon, I hope Jericho is the pioneer,
Jericho and Junction are 3+ months canceled. Thats the hard truth. I like the concept, no one is asking for my money and I will listen.

just wondering how you think you can accomplish what CBS states they were not able to ..... in other words, as I asked once before, how will YOU be able to gather more viewers than a full fledged and reputable network can? Because I do not see the cast, writers, crew ( tho I can not speak for them) would be willing to take this project on for so little attention to detail.
Cable itself would be a hard road to hoe.......... and as you know, its super hard just to get a page rank for your website, let alone enough supportive fans to fund a tv show of Jericho's present quality!
I still wonder at how you were able to use CBS Jericho graphics on this site, if you were not in talks with them over this?

Delivering media in this way is different, you do not need to attract the same number of viewers that the network did, in fact you only need to attract a fraction of them.

I would very much like to know where CBS Para and Junction stand on this "venture" of yours. I also note you are not in the business of Television, rather in communication. How do you plan on helping the show survive with no background in this area?

so, the comments he supposedly made, about Americans going to hell were not correct reporting? Just wondering. How were you able to view his sermons? I would love a chance to check them out for myself, but i will tell you this... if that man did say the things they report he did, and if I feel he meant them the way they came out.......then the problem of letting Obama in the oval office is really due to an anti american sentiment, not what race he is.
For the record, I have African American relatives that I adore, I myself am a pound puppy american... I honestly do not see color, I do see anti social behaviors tho.

You can find his sermons on iTunes. The full text is printed at CNN. He didn't say American was going to hell. What he said was something entirely different, and something anyone who opposes the Iraq war has also said.
