in Hoosiers hang on at home against Ohio State, 72-69 on Inside the Hall
I love the way this team hits their FTs, especially down the stretch. They were 9-10 tonight in the final minute and have been hitting the clutch FTs all year.
It's impressive to win a game where EJ was horrendous, DJ was mediocre, and the team without Basset was 1-17 from the arc. They will definitely need to play better in East Lansing if they want to get out of there with a win.

in IU President will address media at 3PM presser on Inside the Hall
Sorry, wrong link. Don't have text of NCAA report, but it sure seems it was the interviews with those players that turned up the heat.

The only other thing I was able to glean from the press conference articles was this from ESPN:
McRobbie also said that the group conducting the investigation will not conduct any interviews with the players who raised the new allegations in the NCAA reports. Instead, they will review the transcripts of the interviews with the NCAA, he said.
Considering that it seems these are the interviews that turned up the heat on the allegations, it would seem Indiana should come to the same conclusion, which is that Sampson knowingly violated the terms of his sanctions.

in Experts weigh in on 2008 recruiting class on Inside the Hall
Great Ivan Renko reference. I also like hearing the comment on Matt Roth that he is going to be a lot better than people think.

in Sampson talks 2008 recruiting class on Inside the Hall
Any player that chooses to play for Huggins instead of IU is probably not somebody we want in an IU uniform anyway. Clearly, Ebanks was IU's #1 target at that position and the Hoosiers landed him. Jones would have been icing on the cake.
Overall, I think this is a very nice recruiting class. IU landed a nice variety of positions and I like that they have a top 5-star player along with some hard-working 3-star guys that will likely improve year after year. Those type of guys can be invaluable by the time they are juniors and seniors. If IU can keep stacking top-20 or higher classes together year after year, we will be back to a mainstay in the Top 10. Go Hoosiers!

in Gordon leads Hoosiers in 111-62 rout of Pembroke on Inside the Hall
The offensive fire-power on this team is impressive. Once Sampson has them playing defense his way, this team will be very tough to beat. Gordon is amazing and now I can understand why Bruce Weber sitll cries himself to sleep every night. Go Hoosiers!

in Taking the Wonk to task on Eric Gordon on Inside the Hall
Gassaway is way off-base here. I was a big Wilmont fan, but he could do two things -- shoot and rebound. Gordon has an all-around game and Big A nailed the biggest difference and that's Gordon's ability to take it to the rack and finish and/or go to the foul line.

in Eric Gordon speaks at weekly presser on Inside the Hall
I think Gordon's attitude and humbleness are what sets him apart from the other top freshman in the country. He's a team player and because of that, I think this team is going to have a great season.

in Where will Ratliff fit in Hoosier rotation? on Inside the Hall
I think AJ will have a role when it comes time for B10 conference play. I've only seen Crawford in the exhibition game and his offensive play was mesmerizing, but I'm not sure how he will be on the defensive end. When Bassett came out of Hargrave, his defense was horrible at the start of last season.
I knew I was really going to enjoy this season for IU, but I didn't expect to be able to enjoy a Kentucky loss before IU even played their first game! I'm lovin' it!
