Just speculating here but one reason the mexicans still feel a sense of entitlement might be because they feel their game is more beautiful. At the height of their season I do find their game to be faster and more fluid than in MLS. But "more beautiful" is not the same as better. I think there is plenty of attractive soccer in the states and, actually, a lot more variety. Whereas all the mexican clubs seem to play in the same constantly attacking style, we've got the organized "european" style of Steve Nicol's New England to Chivas USA which to me is the most mexican in their style of play, to lots in between.
