Well, I'd like to think that LOVE is simple....like Eryka Badu sings "It could all be simple, but you'd rather make it hard". Why do we make things that should be simple, so hard? From a psychological standpoint, behavior is learned, what you think affects how you feel and what you do.....or how you formed early attachments to caregivers (parents, etc.) affect how you currently relate to others.....Is your view of the world that it's a fun loving place and most people are inherently good....or is it people are out of what they can get....or is it a mixture.....

And from a simpler standpoint...people bring past relational baggage into new relationships...and this makes it complicated.

However, there are ways to uncomplicate things. If both parties are willing to:

COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY (listen, understand and respond appropriately)
WORK ON FINANCES ($ money or the lack of can greatly affect the intimacy)
DEVELOP INTIMACY (What is intimacy? is it sex or love or cuddling?)

These also happen to be the 3 things that make/break a relationship

In my opinion, We are such a resilient people! Most people are inherently good. That gives me hope!

To have more than enough space to host fundraisers, parties, celebrations, community, church and non-profit black tie events for politicians, family and friends. 2-4 car garage! WALK IN CLOSETS!!! More spacious than the one on Sex & the City. To be able to welcome overnight guests into my home. And of course Peace, Love & Joy make up my DREAM HOME!

I stood up for myself. I set some boundaries w friends. I know I deserve more RESPECT! I wrote my 24 New Year's Goals! I'm learning a new language-Spanish. I'm making more "ME" TIME! And I'm learning to say NO repeatedly. LOL

Happy the worst is hopefully over...people can start borrowing money again....and gas prices are dropping. Hopefully, we can get back job stability, too.

I can't do anything about my 6 month review today.....Yes, I've been in my new Research position for 6 months today.....woo hoo....let's CELEBRATE!!!

And of course, I pray about it!

I clean! I cook! I talk about it! I laugh about it! I write it down! I break it down (take action) in smaller steps so I can see my accomplishments! I celebrate the small things! I become grateful for what I do have! I speak it into existence - "I will not be stressed"!

I'm the friend you can count on to keep her word/promises. If I say I'm going to be there or do something I'll be there or I will call to cancel in emergency situations......

My financial situation. My family. My cooking skills (LOL). My interpersonal relationships. My personal growth-I'm learning more and more each day to own, accept and express my feelings.

As a child, my dad would only let us watch 2 tv shows a day...Everytime we watched a tv show or movie we had to discuss it. I thank him for that. Now I'm a much more social person.....and I think challenge the status quo. U should never let someone or the tv tell you what/how to think. Think for yourself!

Socializing. talking. hanging w friends/family. churching. spanish class. working out. emailing. myspacing. facebooking. therapizing people. HA HA!

Life! Another year on earth! During this time of economic crisis many are unemployed and losing their homes. I'm grateful that I have a job I love and a home. I'm grateful to live in a country that gives student loans-some countries don't have that.

GREY'S ANATOMY, PRIVATE PRACTICE, ONE TREE HILL, GIRLFRIENDS (before it went off the air), BERNIE MAC SHOW, 24 w Jack Bauer......I love them all!!!

Church on Sundays. bible study on Wednesdays. Family gets together every holiday! Phone calls, emails, care packages and letter writing to friends/family that are far away- keeping in touch w people we love!

PEACE! SERENITY! LAUGHTER! FRIENDS! FAMILY!

I would eat Anything I wanted! I would go everywhere I wanted! I would do everything I've ever wanted to do! Bungee jump, travel to every country, and of course continue helping others. I would have a much clearer view of what is essential to me. I'd worship in church as usual....I'm doing all these things now....but I mean it would be rushed if I only had 37 days.

Time management! How to get everything done without overwhelming myself....or how to add more time to my day! HA!
