in Electronic Receipts on Villager With Wheel
elroy,

Thanks for the great post. It's refreshing to hear someone that wants what we want! Shoeboxed is the market leader in online receipt organization, and we've been honored by how many people are signing up for our service since we launched in July. The myriad tools we give our users for free online are just the beginning though. In the future, we look to not just organize receipts, but to actually get rid of them. Aren't they just such an anachronism in our digital world?

Thanks for the great post.

And make sure to visit www.shoeboxed.com!

Thanks,

Dan Englander

elroy I really do want to get rid of my receipts.
Due to traveling for work, it would be wonderful to eliminate the piles of
paper that I will have to store thanks to corporate policies.

Thanks for your prompt response. I hope this encourages people to use your
service.

All the services on Shoeboxed.com are totally free, and will continue to be. The mail-in program where we scan receipts for you will be a paid program, and will be more than $5 when it launches worldwide next month.

Hey everybody. This is Dan from Shoeboxed. First of all, I just want to say "wow." A LOT of people are jumping on this offer, and we're happy to see you all coming to the site and registering. That's awesome!

Kryistina: If you have all your receipts online in on a well protected server like Shoeboxed's, you can be sure that your receipts aren't going anywhere. A robber (or an Ex) could rummage through all your stuff, or your house could burn down or flood, leaving you receipt-less, which is not a good situation.

With Shoeboxed you get the peace of mind having all your receipts in one place, and you never have to spend time organizing them once they are in your account. You can categorize them and sort them by date, store, and price--something you can't do with your paper receipts.

Also, you also have access to the scanned images so that you can use them for tax time. There is no reason you'd HAVE to keep the paper copies, because online you'd have everything you need.

Thanks for your post Daksh! Our scanner is the cheapest ones on the Internet, and the same quality as others that are sold for more than 200 dollars...

Keep looking for more features in the very near future that expand on our receipt organization and social shopping foundations!

in Shoeboxed Copies Facebook Beacon on Social Times
Thanks for the write-up! If your main concern is actually being able to get receipts into your accont, never fear. When you registered, you got a new "shoeboxed.com" e-mail address that you should use when you shop online. That way, everytime you buy something online, the receipt will come to Shoeboxed and automatically be organized with the rest of your purchases. And you don't HAVE to share your stuff. You have complete control over your privacy.

And sure you can think we copied fbook, but those features have obviously been in the works since long before fbook launched beacon. I mean, we're not THAT fast at programming! We also already have a fbook app that's better than beacon since it works with all stores, not just affiliates.

I'm glad to see other start-ups are embracing internationalization! Will you be joining shoeboxed.com in Germany any time soon? Do you have plans to allow different languages?
