I agree with Scott, and I spend most of my time in desktop apps (emacs, textmate, itunes, mail, netnewswire, adium, preview, pages and keynote). Then I use the web for documentation, blog reading (from community sites, planets mainly) and LinkedIn.

From the desktop apps I use I would only consider to migrate to a browser-only solution for the mail and feed reader. But the thing is that I like to be able to read them off-line. So... In the other cases (text editing, word processing, slides and multimedia) the desktop apps are so much better than the browser ones. And with dropbox I've access to all my documents in almost any computer.

It's a handy document, most of the commands are just fairly interesting but the least commonly used (i.e. SSL certificates issuing in my case) are good to have there.

A hidden jewel in the document is how to convert a nero .nrg to .iso! I didn't know that a .nrg file is simply an iso image with a 300kb header! So with a simple dd it can be trimmed, this is really cool.

First all, it's nice to see you writing again! About disqus, it is a very good idea and pretty well executed, way better than the blogger comment system.
