The record deal is baffling but the fact that his name isn't even Joe sort of blows my mind.

morganlevy His middle name is Joseph (thanks, Wikipedia) and I assume he really does go by Joe. But it was hilarious to see that thrown in the article as if no one would even wonder why "Joe The Plumber" is really named "Samuel Wurzelbacher."

Doesn't this go right in line with TN being the 6th fattest state? Just a thought...

I think it needs to be taken into account just exactly WHAT people are praying for in TN. I think it's mostly for Summer Milkshake Deals at Sonic - which the corporate gods are happy to deliver.

How are we making plans to become the Greenest City but yet cancelling bus lines and night services? Granted, I understand that becoming 'Green' is more about cleaning up the sewage centers and such but the lack of public transport focus in Nashville is troubling at best.

Agreed that we SHOULD be riding the buses but it's not really all that user friendly when you consider the fact that they don't run that regularly and that they all seem to run downtown and back - and that's it. If your end destination is anywhere but downtown you are going to have to transfer.. seems like maybe having some additional lines that don't all run in the same direction might alleviate this problem a bit.. like, say, one that just runs up and down Wedgewood?
