Agree with you there Rodfather.

My theory is that they're trying to stimulate the development community. They rely totally on it and if those developers stroll of to iPhone or MID land, they will end up having to pay a lot more for development.

Having used the M528 and seen some of the dev work going on in and around the Atom ecosystem, Nokia should indeed think carefully about what OS they persue for the N810.

The Asus R70 is something inkers should be watching out for at CeBIT but i'd put money on it have a soft touch screen.

It's hardly playing! Its more like an occasional screen shot of the YouTube video. Or is it just a bad YouTube vid? Good technical advance for S60 though. Put that on a Cortex core and we could be seeing impressive results.

Isn't it funny though how one of the most inefficient codec implementations in use today has become a benchmark. Content is still king!

If you want 3G, you're going to have to pay for it. Its very expensive for the modems.

The HTC Advantage and Nokia E90 are your closest matches. E90 has AGPS now. Not VGA but wide-screen (800px)

I'm with you there on the iTunes purchasing thought. I did actually buy a couple of tracks recently but i'm back to buying the real CD thing now. Can't beat a bit of plastic in your hand / CDROM-ripper!

Vista does, indeed, work well with 2GB RAM on an SH6. Quite amazing really.

However, XP Tablet runs faster and would probably allow you to get the same productivity out of a 1GB machine. It largely depends on your tablet requirements. As i'm someoone that doesn't use handwriting, there aren't many features in Vista that really make much difference to me.

The key thing is, get the 2GB upgrade when you buy an SH6 and then you have the choice of OS.

T770 is a solid slate device. really not bad at all. Price could be cheaper I think though.

This sounds a litle expensive but remember its an import. There is a localised vesion apearing in the uk now and if this makes it through to the u.s. retail channels i think you will see some cheaper prices.

I'm tempted to take the Q1B apart now to check out the HSDPA modem. Especially as I want it in the Everun!
