I'd like to leave behind a flutter of gardens, a growing community of passionate and compassionate gardeners (literally and metaphorically), and know that I've helped people heal through physical, emotional and all-in-all creative expression that's been inspired by their work and play in gardens.

I went to the gym with my husband this morning, and he kisses me in public even when I'm sweaty and dissheveled. We have cloud cover in Northern Colorado this morning--it feels like Fall. I have a play date with one of my girlfriends this afternoon. My new job search is going well. I get to choose how to spend my time today.

Spending the rest of my life with my husband Ryan. Redesigning my Web site. The fact that it's a cloudy day, today (if it's at all possible, and I'm here to tell you it is, we get too much sun in Colorado). Watching the joy in my hound dog's face (and tail!) when she realizes it's time for a walk. Opening my browser to see what the ladies at 3191 have posted. Learning to enjoy this moment while simultaneously moving ahead into the next stage of my life. A magazine in the mail. Plant possibilities and healing gardens.

...Goodness, making this list feels fabulous. Thanks for the impetus.

in What adventure are you craving (or planning for)? on Carrie and Danielle
Wow, after seeing all these travel ideas, I feel a little sheepish about admitting my plan for adventure: having children. But, I suspect, unlike some adventures that can end on the flight home, my kids will keep the adventures coming year after year! I think that's the most exciting part of all.
