in fear of money on brip blap
Hey Steve,
Excellent post. I actually got really lucky and pulled my money out of the stock market about three days before it's largest drop. I actually did it to make a down payment on a house but the timing was lucky nontheless. I haven't put my money back in the market since. I have been much too scared. My money is all sitting in a savings account earning a 2% interest rate. Although, who knows how safe savings accounts are nowadays either.
Anyway, great post. I'm glad to see that you're still here and you're still managing to kick out quality posts. Talk to you soon.

in how to start investing on brip blap
I think the real trick is actually forgetting about your investments. You've got to invest the money and avoid checking the ticker every day. You will drive yourself crazy. I think the biggest problem that new investors have is to watch their investments every hour. This type of thing leads to panic selling and making bad decisions. Ignore the prices on a day to day basis and ignore the media that tries to time the market and explain when the market is going up or down.

I just used diigo for my last post and it actually worked out really well. I think it's a keeper.

I love your picks for classes. I would take every single one of those. I think one more that I'd add for myself would be another photography class. I took 2 years of it in High School but none in college. I would love to learn more about it because I've started really getting in to the hobby again.

Thanks for the mention. I really appreciate it.
I agree with Patrick. Your alternative income post was great. That's what I've been striving for and the freedom to not be held to one line of income would be amazing.

This really is a great post. I love you advice. It's not an easy way to make money or something people even necessarily want to hear but it's the truth and it's completely honest.
On a side note, your 20s sound like what I'm going through now. 60-80 weeks making approx. 35k/year. Not fun. I'm still in school though (at night), I'm in a big city and I'm majoring in Finance (which hopefully will prove to be beneficial).
Great Post.

Wow. Great list of sites. Thanks for including mine. Making people feel important is a great thing and it's definitely something I even need to work on. I blog about things I want to be better about and this definitely something that can use work.

in 6 ways you are passing up free money on brip blap
Those are some great tips. Unfortunately I don't have the 401K option. I've had the high yield savings forever. I'm considering moving all my monthly expenses to a credit card now. That's a good idea.

That's an interesting article. I don't quite believe that those guys can't shoot lasers beams from their eyes. If they can't already, I'd say they are darn close. With the technology they have available to them, it will happen.
On a less serious note, I do agree that other countries are having and economical revolution. They may be doing it through standards, that in the U.S., may not be considered ethical but nonetheless, that is their culture and, like in the U.S., the ones that take the risks are the ones that are seeing the rewards. I also agree that it's very interesting to think about all the possibilities to build wealth. So many people seem to think that you need to be an internet genius or a real estate mogul to grow your wealth but there are so many, less than glamorous, jobs out there that are making people filthy, stinking rich.
