Great recap... and I absolutely agree that all the damned parties were held at loud venues. Best I could do was nod at people and take pictures with them. And at Lavo.. where after the first hour or so regular non-Blogworld peeps starting flooding in. That was interesting.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, I didn't know people use Technorati anymore? They've received so much funding and the site still offers the same jumble of "features".

Actually when i ran into this problem i manually forced the old repo URL (still active, just points to the new one) and it worked fine. But I'm not sure they'll keep it up forever so this is a good guide!

Well put. As a blogger and blog reader, I like commenting on people's posts to let them know that a) I enjoyed their post or if I didn't to bring up some constructive criticism, .. but mainly for b) to show them that I am another individual in their space so they can know more about me, and hopefully interact on my blog in the future. Do this everyday for a few years and you will know a lot more people in your blogging "space" and they'll know of you. Gary Vaynerchuk talks about how he commented on related blogs for years and look at him now haha. (ps dont forget to login to Skribit and link ("fulfill") to this post to notify people following it!)

Yeah I love feedly as well.. nothing has been able to dethrone google as my homepage, but this has done it overnight.
