Well, going on my memories of being a child and what I know of psychology and not having had my own kids, I would say it depends on what the behavior is. Shoe tying is relatively tame. I would turn it into a teaching session and suggest that the older child and the younger child have a teach and learn time when not actually dressing for school, like on saturday or in the evening.
The 8 year could practice tying the shoe of the older child, or an "off" shoe from the opposite perspective of the wearer.

I would think some other type of behavior, l like bathing or something might have a more serious cut off date.

I'm not so sure I would "preach" to the older child about their own psychological "role" and the reasons for doing or not doing things as it sounds too advanced for someone actually going through the stage to understand the stages of psychological development. I wouldn't want to further resentment at an inattentive parent by overly attending some neglected areas.

The 8 year old should probably be able to tie his or her own shoe after one or two lessons, I would guess.

I watch it like a hawk and sometimes I check the receipt. I am aware of grocery store scams and I have even reported an Associated for mis pricing items to the city!

This is beautiful ASL use of classifiers and forced perspective and actually, in my opinion, satire related to those 'golden dragon / hidden tiger' whatever films that use the camera effects with the 360 slow motion. where is alkali beach anyway and it sounds kind of like an unhealthy place to be.

I guess with the knowledge that it was a video summary of a place, but still I don't think it is a very accurate picture of a place. It seemed like 4 very different pictures, it left me with no overall sense of the place itself, as if i had been standing there looking at the view from the place but where was the view, it was more a view FROM alkali beach, but no sense of the place itself. I also found I had to watch it twice, the first time made me want to watch it a second time and the first shot made me think of those old environmental commercials from the 70's about pollution and the Greenhouse Effect.

That is very bizarre.
