I use them to post spur of the moment things, quick wine comments, or just general ramblings. I've used them on my blog, as well as updating twitter.

For example, my blog post tonight on http://agoodtimewithwine.com started with a 12second.tv post about the wine I was going to drink. I also used it while travelling, when going to California and Napa. It allows people to see a little bit of what I experience. Like twitter, not all of it matters, but some is fun. LIKE YOUR VIDEOS :)

I'll have to add you to my 12seconds stream!

Re: Tag your it.

John-
Thanks for tagging me. While I thought everyone knew EVERYTHING about me, I am pretty sure I found 6 things that werent known. You can laugh about them here:
http://babblingaboutnothing.com/?p=83

Re: Wine Blogging Wednesday #50: Which wine, which wilderness?

Sad I didn't get a chance to find the theme before today. And perhaps a tad grateful, as my last true hike was probably with my son's cub scout pack, and I assure you, there's no wine allowed!

That being said, I think you picked a fabulous topic, and I have truly enjoyed reading some of the posts that spawned from it. Thanks!

Matt

Re: Creepy Advertising

I agree wholeheartedly, advertising often resorts to unconventional methods to sell, and I dont like it. Nothing creepy comes to mind right now, because frankly I'm very much TV adverse and don't watch ANY shows. I do HATE the "Kaboom" guy, who now pitches 1,000 products, because he yells at me. I'm an educated man, you can talk to me and I can make a decision if I want your product. Shouting makes me want to .. well . not do nice things.

Thanks for your honest look at a creative profession. Perhaps it's the winds of change!

Matt

Re: How do the Polish advertise their salons?

That would never fly in the USA. Too many conservative people find sex, sexuality, and the like offensive. There'd be lawsuits filed by the 100s.

A man once had an Idea to sell hotdogs in Florida topless. He made a killing selling $1.50 hotdogs. Then people sued. So he had them in teenie bikinis. And made a killing selling $1.50 hotdogs. Then people sued. Maybe he moved to Poland?
