The Asus Eee PC 1005HA and 1008HA was launched today in the Philippines with starting price of $478.

The D150 was shipped to the Philippines back in March with the Atom N280. Here's a shot of the box with specs.

I believe there was a manufacturing/packaging anomaly. In the whole batch of shipments, all colors (Blue, White, Black) had N280 except the RedRed color netbook which had N270 in it. When they checked the whole delivery, all red netbooks had N270 yet the others are N280. Even the retailers were surprised when I pointed this out to them the first time I bought the unit 2 months ago.

Been testing an H1 Blue review unit for a month now and the CPU is a bit slow. Was running SuperPi on it and took more than half an hour to complete the 2M test.

Despite Globe's 21 million subscribers in the Philippines, only 3.5% are actually post paid (700+k) so it's not much of a market.

I'm getting Error 500 on the Feedburner feeds of my blog and it's been 3 days. Could they be migrating to Google servers? I'm afraid Feedburner would go the same way as MeasureMap after Google bought them.

This is one huge reason why some Googlers shouldn't be allowed to blog.
