The whole reason of leaving a direct voicemail is to avoid conversation and with Pinger that is lost. Receiving a text is a blatant sign that the sender did not want to speak with you. Slydial creates that "illusion" by having the receiver see a voicemail prompt. The missed call that sometimes occurs makes it seem as if the sender actually tried to call them.
