in Twittermania 8 New Twitter Services on The Beta News
Here's a few more to fuel the fire:
OverheardIt - http://overheard.it - pulls in all the fun things people overhear on Twitter. I'm hooked on this one, some real funny stuff here.
TweetMySign - http://ustream.tv/channel/tweetmysign - while this on is admittedly pretty useless, still fun none the less. Sends your Twitter replies to a LED sign monitored by a web cam.

in The 10-Minute Daily Guide to Building Your Social Media Profile on Instigator Blog
You forgot to mention outsourcing your social media profile building activities ;)
No really, for me the key (as you mentioned) is focus. I constantly find myself wandering around aimlessly when I go to say, respond to a comment on MyBlogLog. The next thing I know, I am off on some tangent that has totally sidetracked my original task of simply answering a comment. You have some good advice here. I’m definitely going to give your 10 minute guide a shot (might give me some extra time to actually put a blog post together)!

in Blog Tipping and Link Post Writing on Instigator Blog
Ben - Thanks for keeping this one going (and for the mention/link love)! Gotta love the blog synergy. I also liked how you organized your post...I liked that you gave each tip some commentary (as opposed to just listing the links as in the original) -- I should have done the same. I am going to have to go back and revise my original post. Good show :)

in 10 Things You Must Do When Changing WordPress Themes on Instigator Blog
Ben,
When I first started using WordPress I got burned a few times by #2 (forgetting to re-apply stat tracking code). After changing themes a couple of times (and forgetting to add my stat code back in) I decided I had enough...and wrote a plug-in that does it for you.
The plug-in takes the code mods that you typically make to the header, sidebar, and footer and stores them in the WordPress database. Now, when you switch themes you no longer have to reenter your stat code (because it is pulled from the db instead of the theme itself). Check it out if you are interested: http://www.nmediainteractive.com/2007/05/18/tra...
