Well that just sucks now doesn't it?
My whole reason for using Twitter was to get some linkage to my own sites.
*Blowing off dust and cobwebs from the "I don't need you anymore vault" and throwing Twitter into the void of uselessness, move over "MyBlogLog"*

in Lunar Pages – The Worst Mistake A Webhost Can Make… on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
I have been trying to figure out this CPU Exceeded error for a long time now too.
Host Monster won't help a whole lot. All they say is check the CPU_Exceeded Logs, and like that helps (NOT) It doesn't tell you anything about what is hogging resources.
Then they say it's bad scripting, and I made the comment about it's a Wordpress Blog you supplied and never got an answer from them.
They insist on going the "It's a bad Script" route but not once did they want to help find out what script is hogging resources.
They will rant on about cpu seconds and bla-bla-bla- techie talk bla-bla-bla I'm not a Rocket Scientist bla-bla-bla. (Probably copy and pasted into the message as if they sound like they know what they're talking about) and it's usually the exact same line they give so it's obvious something they copy and past. It's awful of me to interrupt them during their hard job with such a silly problem.
I've actually downloaded Trisia's script, and plan on using it when I find the time as it will take awhile to go through the process according to the steps she suggests.
IMO, I think if they increase the percentage of 20% to maybe 40% it would solve the whole thing.

I use both FeedBurner and Antileech.
After reading your comment above, I tested it with my own IP and it did work.
So Antileech does works with feedburner. Just an FYI.

After reading this I just went through my site stats, and you wouldn't believe (OK You probably could) the amount of scraped content is on other sites. All of them have a .info domain.
I added *.info in my Antileech plug-in. I hope this works.
I wanted to ask the author of the plug-in is that way will work but there's no way to contact them.
So a good start for this guys ultimate plan would be to add the domain extension .info to that list with the wild card (*) in front of it.

At least somebody's trying to do something about it.
It's to bad I didn't see this earlier. I could have contributed a few addresses to him.
In addition to you 'New Direction' points. I would also suggest e-mail verification. If you submit a site, you have to verify that you did by replying to the automated e-mail verification.
IMO, anything that will make sploging less desirable to the scum of the earth is a good step in the right direction.
The problem is at the moment is that making the splogs is just to damn easy. We've got to make it harder.
A plugin using an updated list would be a good start.
Let me know when somebody makes one.

in Why Wordpress.com is Virtually Spam Free on Plagiarism Today
It would be nice if that would at least give the API to Digg so I can cross post my stuff to the Wordpress.com site I have.
I have a blogger Link page that I put my best Links to articles I've posted on my main site. Would like to do the same with Wordpress.com.
Just for PR ranking purposes.

That link you have to the guy standing beside the SUV is fake. Just look at the reflection on the truck. Bad photoshop job.
I honestly can't see these spammers making all that much dough. I couldn't fathom the amount of time it would take out of ones life trying to maintain 10,000 blogs.
Let along trying to convince Google to allow you to place ads on all of them with one account.
I think Spam is just like all the other get rich quick schemes. They're all hype to suck you into spending a couple of bucks on hosting and software, and you don't get what was promised.
The only way a person can get rich quick in this world is either win the lottery, or work hard at something.
But that's just my opinion, and you're entitled to it.
