Every voter should be treated the same. The concept that one race has "protections" reeks of inequality, to say the least.

It has nothing to do with race. Barack Obama is very anti-gun as are most Democrats. Many people own guns for home protection and a subset of them legally carry a concealed weapon.

Obama is against the right of legal, honest, law-abiding citizens to protect themselves with a weapon, as are most Democrats. The ignorant "reasoning" is to ban (especially) handguns. The problem is those laws are only followed by people that obey the law anyway - not criminals.

So pleaseeeeee - stop trying to constantly paint racial overtones to Constitutional rights. Your constant attempts to racially charge every issue is so so obvious.

There's a BIG difference between the acts of an individual and the planned and organized (and Obama-supported) efforts of an agency such as ACORN - a Democrat conceived front for radical activists and in part - a core contributor to America's economic troubles.

Anyone notice that Barack Obama has never publically told ACORN to stop their illegal activities? No, but his money continues to flow to ACORN. Democrats orignally had 20% of the "bail out" billions going into the coffers of ACORN - until this fact was revealed to the public and public outrage forced Democrats to change that.

Although I respect Powell as an accomplished black and I respect his achievements he has clearly had a path of degraded mental judgment. I guess the Huffington Post forgot how he lied to the UN security counsel with "evidence" of WMDs that he - under his own choice and doing - tried to present as fact.

Back in mid Auguest Fox News analysis Bill Kristol stated Powell would endorse Obama. Powell said "I do not have time to waste on Bill Kristol's musings" - again, lying to the public. Obviously he did endorse Obama.

Powell is no conservative and in 2004 when, in a conversation with British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, he reportedly referred to neoconservatives within the Bush administration as "fucking crazies" (Powell's words).

So Zbigniew Brzezinski is a failed nobody endorsing the failed black guy Powell that endorses an inexperienced black guy. Ah - it all defines the Obama mentality.

We witnessed people that felt the intense need to impose their views of morality upon others. The State of Florida has laws that deal with the Terri case, and fortunately the courts did not let anyone take away the rights of Terri and her husband. It is the right of her husband that prevailed - against the President, the Congress, and everyone else that had their own agenda to exploit Terri with.

Anyone ever notice that is was her husband that always kept this a private issue between him and his wife and doctors? I heard that while his in-laws were always making grand public displays going in and out of that facility her husband tried to stay private - going in and out the back doors (although once her tube was removed he stayed present practically full time - day and night).

So much hate was generated by those in-laws. So many rumors against the poor husband. Now the morbid crowd demands this woman be chopped up in an autopsy, demanding their right to know the results. A frenzy of hate - and to think some in government (Republican and Democrat) were part of this frenzy to take away the husband’s rights - even to the talk of the State of Florida taking custody away from the husband. All a very scary rights issue. I’m actually surprised the laws remained intact over the power of certain groups and individuals.

Personally I think Terri - the person, the soul - died over a decade ago. Only the body died today. I’ve seen the CT head scan and the huge amount of structure gone. Brain tissue does not grow back.
