Verbal and non-verbal communications are skills that should not be undervalued. As you are learning, even techies need to be able to communicate more efficiently with the less knowledgeable, who as this was the case, turn out to be your boss.

Great video with lots of points. He is indeed a great representation of America.

Its a great time for starting a business. People that find themselves out of work, should start an online business...blogging is a great way to start a business that can provide real money down the line, and act as a way to put yourself out there.

I am sure Las Vegas will come out of this economic storm smelling like roses. Those that can not, probably did not have a very secure customer base, but over all I don't forsee a ton of problems for the city as a whole. And fear not, I am sure the real estate market will be bouncing back in not time. In the mean time, I am sure people can get some good comps to casinos and resorts that want to lure vacationers in.

Just because the declaration was signed does not mean the fight is over. The fight for right is an endless battle. This reminds me of a story I read about 5 former slaves yesterday...slavery which has been illegal in the US for over a 100 years, still exists as these stories illustrate.

Before living together my wife and I did a lot of texting, and still do quite a bit, but no where near as much as when first started going out. Now our kids do it more than we do , so we have an unlimited texting plan...which also saves minutes.

I have been using Blogcatalog for several years off and on. I think that if you use it consistently, you can actually get some good traffic out of it, and meet some groovy bloggers.
It also has some good advertising opportunities. Sponsoring a category in the directory gives you a pretty good link.

Just this morning, my wife and I decided to stop using the word when some skimpy little actress was on a morning show going over her new year resolutions and "being more Green" in 2009 topped her list..

The most laughable green initiative by an industry was the water company that decided to make its bottles with 1/3 less plastic.

If I lived in a city, I would certainly ugly up my bike. I love checking out all the bikes that have been uglied up whenever I visit Philly. No matter how ugly you make a good bike, it is still a good bike.
