Pigeonne de moi! Comme bien d'autres, je n'ai pas remarqué que le numéro en question était intitulé "L'Audifoire"... C'était donc un gag, tant mieux pour la qualité du journal.
Ce qui ne change cependant rien à mes remarques concernant les majuscules, le sexisme, et tout le tralala!

Nice to know my readers, I love it when somebody new drops a line!
They aren't too bad around here with parking tickets. In the center of
town you know you'll get caught, but here... well I've been parking
"illegally" for the last six months and only got two tickets. Not too bad,
eh? Actually, comes around cheaper than paying for the parking pass.

Karl, I'm not sure I get you, in fact. The text was unreadably small for
you when I specified it as 0.75 em (which I now understand, is a
ridiculous thing to do), but what about when I specified it as 13px? That
shouldn't be affected by the font size you have chosen as default in your
browser, should it?

Mais à part ça, c'est clair que c'est une possibilité. Le truc, c'est
qu'en fait ma vie ne se prête pas vraiment à posséder un chien. Je vis en
appartement, je ne suis pas beaucoup là ...
Je vais de toute façon attendre cet hiver, et on verra. Peut-être que je
prendrai un chien ou un deuxième chat pour tenir compagnie à Bagha... ; )

hehe. I'm in Switzerland - sorry if the "language" flag is misleading. So
it's swiss francs, and not french francs (multiply that price by four).
As for the digital camera, it's on the "wishlist" (feeling generous, any
of you?) - but I'm not going to abandon normal film though, I like it way
too much.

"doing it the right way" (and trust me, it won't make the scans unreadable
- I wasn't too happy with them anyway).

Easy. The right way, as far as scans are concerned, is the one which makes
the scanned picture on a properly calibrated monitor most ressemble the
original slide.

bonne question: est-il nécessaire qu'une communauté parle d'elle-même pour
qu'elle existe? Est-ce un discours performatif (en parlant de l'existence
de la communauté, on la lui donne)?
Ou encore, est-ce un peu comme quand Merleau-Ponty dit, au sujet de
"tomber amoureux", que l'on n'est amoureux qu'à partir du moment où prend
forme ce constat "je suis amoureux/se", que c'est le constat qui fait que
l'on peut prétendre à cet "état"?

In fact, I was thinking about parents with children. I think that people
who have suffered from being brought up a bit too "tightly" have less
trouble than those which have been brought up in a too "permissive" way
(we're not talking about extremes here).
The message would be: "when in doubt about an educational decision, there
is less risk of damage if you choose the 'tight' way when you should have
chosen the 'slack' one, than if you do the opposite - choose the 'slack'
way when the healthiest would have been the 'tight' one."

I think I'm normal. Just sometimes, I wonder where are all those other
people in the world who don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs ;) -
apart from my close friend circle.
Half-kidding of course. I know they are there somewhere. I don't feel

Je ne suis pas certaine de comprendre tout ce que tu dis, mais en réponse
à ce que je comprends: l'absence d'égalité est peut-être un problème pour
nous, après les Lumières et la Révolution Française, mais je doute qu'elle
empêchait les grecs de dormir. L'inégalité fait partie de l'ordre du monde
dans leur culture, voilà tout.
D'ailleurs, même à l'époque de Saint-Augustin, celui-ci prenait position
"contre" l'esclavage non pas en demandant son abolition, mais en
enseignant qu'il est du devoir du maître de maison de bien traiter ses
esclaves (ne pas trop les battre, ni donner des punitions arbitraires,
etc.)
Que de questions bien épineuses.
La philosophie grecque est ancrée dans une pratique de vie. La
philosophie de la période hellénistique, particulièrement, se préoccupe du
problème très concret du bonheur de l'homme. La réponse passe par la
connaissance, la raison - et donc une certaine quantité de spéculations,
mais elle est loin d'être un beau discours abstrait que l'on ferait pour
le plaisir des formes.
Pyrrhon par exemple, le fondateur du scepticisme (dont on sait très peu),
était un exemple vivant de la philosophie qu'il prônait. C'est un exemple
qui a beaucoup impressioné Epicure, par ailleurs.
Bon, là je crois que je m'étale un peu. Je n'ai probablement pas répondu
à tes interrogations...
