Wow, I gotta say that without a doubt that was one of the best journal entries I've ever read.
I'm glad to read that you know how bad the Kat thing fucked you up. I mean, I'm not at all saying you're stupid but sometimes people don't get how bad or how long stuff like that can hurt them. Oh, that brings me to something I wanted to add.

Kat: Fuck you for making people think you were the best shit on toast when you were JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. Fuck you for making the best person I know the hardest one to get to know. Fuck you for screwing him over so badly that he could tell me he loved me for so long but not really be able to. Fuck you for leaving the way you did, for me having to be in love with someone who was in love with someone else for too long. Fuck you for leaving your stupidity, indecency, and inhumanity behind for others to deal with.
Thank your lucky stars you were young and can forgive yourself for all of it based on that. I really hope you do. On a lighter note, I know it must have been tough being you and making the decisions you had to make. I will likely never understand.

Ok so that may have been inappropriate, but at least it was authentic. Anyway, Tony, excellent post like I said before. However, you left me out of your "fuck you" list when I know I deserve to be on it for a couple of different things.

I watched the competition last night. Personally, I think Arakawa from Japan was just beautiful on the ice. She skated a flawless program, but she took the safe road a couple of times (doing double jumps instead of triples) which I'm not sure I agree with. SHe did this because she saw Sasha Cohen fall twice and knew that if she could skate clean she would at least medal. Then the skater from Russia fell and it was all over. I think Arakawa is just wonderful, but I didn't like to see the winning program being executed on the safe side. I wanted her to go all out, give her whole effort. But, I guess what she did was just good strategy.

I'm glad you like Mike and Mary. A lot of times I think they are the only ones I like from my father's side as well. Except of course for Grandma, Grandpa, and my father. I might not hang out with them by choice for fun, but I love them a lot. Why did you get such a cool family anyway? My mom's side is awesome though...at least my immediate family and grandma. The rest drink a lot. And have kareoke at family reunions...it's scary. I'm done.

Anyway, I'm not sure how to react to the statment about you not being funny. Am I lame because I think you're funny? I didn't think I was lame...and if you stop laughing at stuff that I think is funny, stupid or not, I will be sad. Hello all,

I must say that in the past, Lacey hasn't really "fucked Tony over". I mean, she didn't steal from him or blow up his house or anything. It was more of a slow draining of patience. She, in my opinion, never did anything major or outright that could be considered a fuckover.
As for the second chance part, I figure what the hell? It's not like you expect her to be your attached at the hip best friend because I don't know that you guys ever had that kind of relationship. A rekindling of a friendship where you only see each other once in a while because we're far away and she's in school can't take that much effort right? She goes off north to college soon anyway. I'd give it at least some thought. Which is what you're doing. So cool beans.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It gave me the flutter in my chest that all superhero vs. supervillian movies should. The characters were endearing albeit a bit cheesy at times like you mentioned. Point being, I came out of the movie wishing I could be in their world and feeling for a little while like I was.

I get pissed off when I hear about raising taxes to "ween" us off of petroleum. Some of us are doing all we can. I'm getting a job closer to where we live. If I could find a job in my town, I would walk to work. I can't. I must drive or not work. I would buy a non-gasoline based vehicle if there was one available priced for the everyday consumer to buy. C'mon guys, give us a chance.

I'm sorry that you're stressing about the stuff with Kat. I would too, in your position, believe me. If you think it would be better for you to know it all, I would just call her. Sure it will be weird at first but you'll get your questions answered. She's got no reason to hide anything from you anymore. I had to do something like this once, and it's kind of like taking off a band-aid, it hurts like hell in the moment but then you can start getting over it. I'll help any way I can.
It's pretty damned cool that you are an officer in the High Command. You seem to really enjoy it, and it looks as though you need something like that to take your mind off some other bullshit.

I forgot something. I wanted to tell you that the reason I never brought up the cheating thing with Kat is that I thought you probably knew. And, if you already knew, and I brought it up to tell you, it would just look like I was trying to say bad stuff about her. That would make me look like a bitch. When J.E. told me that you didn't know about the friend thing, I struggled with whether or not to tell you for a while. It's hard to not protect someone you love.
It used to make me so mad when you would talk about how it was your fault that the relationship between you and Kat went south. How you did this and that to her and how great she was. I wanted to scream when I heard things like that. I just thought that she had you so convinced it was your fault that you couldn't see it another way. I never thought you didn't know. I'm sorry love.

I had a good time, fun trip indeed. I'm glad we got back Sunday. I needed that day to chill out before work.
I must admit I was holding my breath during that confrontation with the guy wanting to back up the ramp. I'm glad no fists were thrown.

MXPX sucked big donkey hose. But they were entertaining, if you don't count their music. Reel Big Fish was super cool. They didn't ask the audience to join in as much as MXPX, but they didn't have to. They were entertaining enough with awesome tunes and stage presence that the audience didn't have to help them entertain. The show, all in all, was a good time and way worth the trip.
The linked story made me cry, literally. I'm not sure that makes me a healthy person. Oh well, I am who I am.

I agree, for the most part, with what you are saying. However, I need some clarification on something. Are you disgruntled with people baselessly blaming shit on other people? Or are you disgruntled at people complaining in general? Because I disagree with blaming your problems on someone else without grounds for doing so. However, sometimes people need to vent about stuff that just happens no matter whose fault it is. Recent example being my car. You were there for me when I needed to be sad about stuff that happened and you didn't seem to mind. That made me feel better. :)

Wow, that sucks. Really really sucks. However, you and Dave have put a lot of thought and effort into this. I think, even though you're disappointed, that you should keep working at it. You still have a lot of prep to do until you are even ready to physically be in a store every day. A lot can happen between now and then. Maybe Dawn can help out, and maybe you can work around your school schedule. I know it seems hopeless and you just want to give up, but keep going if you want it bad enough. Keep going.

I have a suggestion. How about looking into the company that makes Apples to Apples? They are an independent-ish game company so chances are they have some interesting stuff. Worth a look I'm sure. I can't remember the name of the company but it's right on the box in the closet.

If it gets to the point where she needs a lawyer, I will definitely talk to my uncle. I have no idea what he would charge if anything. I would imagine he would want some kind of compensation since the case may take some traveling time for him and such. Anyway, in order for this to go forward at all the prosecution has to have enough evidence to even charge her. It sounds like they are going to have trouble coming up with that considering the weakness of their case. I doubt very much they will come up with strong evidence because your sister is innocent. I would tell you not to worry, but I know that's impossible. I simply cannot see anyone coming up with a strong enough case in this situation to go forward with prosecution. However, I am there to do whatever I can do if needed.

I'm going to make one comment to both of your latest posts.

I like to play adventure strategy games like Zelda. Am I good at adventure or strategy? Yeahthatsrightyouguesseditno. Do what makes you happy.

As for knowing what you want to do... I really don't think that's expected of you at this point. You are 23, I think it's good that you know what you want to TRY. What you want to settle on comes later. How can you know what you want to do without pursuing it at least a little? As for wasting a lot of years you don't have...I think you are the judge of how much time you have. I guess just remember that you have to feed yourself and keep clothes on your back at the same time. Other than that,(repeat from above) do what makes you happy.

You say that you really enjoy making people understand things you enjoy...sounds like a teacher to me? Something to look into for sure. Or maybe being a project leader on a film crew...that would allow you to create media as well as teach.

By the way, if it makes you feel better, I really don't "love" what I do. I mean, I don't mind it, but I don't especially enjoy it. I don't really know that I'll like counseling either. I just thought I might be good at it, so I'm giving it a shot. A shot in the dark, better than feeling stuck.
