I'm going to make one comment to both of your latest posts.

I like to play adventure strategy games like Zelda. Am I good at adventure or strategy? Yeahthatsrightyouguesseditno. Do what makes you happy.

As for knowing what you want to do... I really don't think that's expected of you at this point. You are 23, I think it's good that you know what you want to TRY. What you want to settle on comes later. How can you know what you want to do without pursuing it at least a little? As for wasting a lot of years you don't have...I think you are the judge of how much time you have. I guess just remember that you have to feed yourself and keep clothes on your back at the same time. Other than that,(repeat from above) do what makes you happy.

You say that you really enjoy making people understand things you enjoy...sounds like a teacher to me? Something to look into for sure. Or maybe being a project leader on a film crew...that would allow you to create media as well as teach.

By the way, if it makes you feel better, I really don't "love" what I do. I mean, I don't mind it, but I don't especially enjoy it. I don't really know that I'll like counseling either. I just thought I might be good at it, so I'm giving it a shot. A shot in the dark, better than feeling stuck.

You know Jer's screen name. He is invisible online most of the time. He would be thrilled to talk to you, just message him. And yes, you are too much of a man. Dawn wants to talk this over with you so you will have your answers soon, I would imagine.

If it gets to the point where she needs a lawyer, I will definitely talk to my uncle. I have no idea what he would charge if anything. I would imagine he would want some kind of compensation since the case may take some traveling time for him and such. Anyway, in order for this to go forward at all the prosecution has to have enough evidence to even charge her. It sounds like they are going to have trouble coming up with that considering the weakness of their case. I doubt very much they will come up with strong evidence because your sister is innocent. I would tell you not to worry, but I know that's impossible. I simply cannot see anyone coming up with a strong enough case in this situation to go forward with prosecution. However, I am there to do whatever I can do if needed.

I have a suggestion. How about looking into the company that makes Apples to Apples? They are an independent-ish game company so chances are they have some interesting stuff. Worth a look I'm sure. I can't remember the name of the company but it's right on the box in the closet.

Wow, that sucks. Really really sucks. However, you and Dave have put a lot of thought and effort into this. I think, even though you're disappointed, that you should keep working at it. You still have a lot of prep to do until you are even ready to physically be in a store every day. A lot can happen between now and then. Maybe Dawn can help out, and maybe you can work around your school schedule. I know it seems hopeless and you just want to give up, but keep going if you want it bad enough. Keep going.

I agree, for the most part, with what you are saying. However, I need some clarification on something. Are you disgruntled with people baselessly blaming shit on other people? Or are you disgruntled at people complaining in general? Because I disagree with blaming your problems on someone else without grounds for doing so. However, sometimes people need to vent about stuff that just happens no matter whose fault it is. Recent example being my car. You were there for me when I needed to be sad about stuff that happened and you didn't seem to mind. That made me feel better. :)

MXPX sucked big donkey hose. But they were entertaining, if you don't count their music. Reel Big Fish was super cool. They didn't ask the audience to join in as much as MXPX, but they didn't have to. They were entertaining enough with awesome tunes and stage presence that the audience didn't have to help them entertain. The show, all in all, was a good time and way worth the trip.
The linked story made me cry, literally. I'm not sure that makes me a healthy person. Oh well, I am who I am.

I had a good time, fun trip indeed. I'm glad we got back Sunday. I needed that day to chill out before work.
I must admit I was holding my breath during that confrontation with the guy wanting to back up the ramp. I'm glad no fists were thrown.
