At the end of the show, we waited with the rest of the fans to say a quick 'hi you're awesome!' :-) But our guests had to get on the road (long drives) so off they went.

We'd assumed the Fredericksburg group got home long before us. Sadly they didn't (though there's a good ending to what occurred).

They followed a GPS route but missed the turnoff because of 'navigation problems'. They had a Garmin eTrex, (which they term useful if you're lost in the woods but not-so-much if you're trying to get back to I-95.)

They wound up at a toll road with unmanned booths and they had no change. A driver pulled up, threw out a handful of coins, which landed on the ground. The next driver reached into the "Rejected Change" slot, grabbed a handful of change, then ran the toll!

Our friends finally commandeered a car with a good citizen who saved the day (or night!) by giving them the change to get through the booth - and finally, home!

A wonderful write-up for sure! with one notable exclusion i.e., much reveling to the beat of "What Would Bob Do?" :-)

3. Wes (aka Richard Rather) clearly has another calling.....he's an excellent actor!

Mark Harmon's a major draw for me....as well as David McCallum and Pauley Perrette....The first two stretch back to roles I've seen them portray during my youth :-) and Pauly is a unique character in all the best senses of different, 'quirky' with a heart of gold, smart and empathetic.

Jerry told a wonderful story about writing one of his songs (“The Wild Rumpus”) in response to Maurice Sendak's encouraging him to read "Where the Wild Things Are" to his children. He phrased it as 'payback' :-)
