in Using Non-Professional Actors on Massify
wow, what an interesting post. I think that using non-professional actors is a serious thing because not everyone is a professional and not everyone can act, so people who aren't professional but serious about acting might be good for people who aren't really professional but are interesting in film, or for professionals who might be interesting in using a non-professional on a professional project. this might make the non-professional become a professional overnight.

in Storyboarding Resources on Massify
These examples of how to draw storyboards really hit the mark. Please keep the examples coming, some of us need additional help in learning how to draw storyboards for Massify competitions.

in Fuck 37Signals and Their Bourgeois Bullshit on interfacelab
i actually thought 'web design' was a 90s concept that has become a catch-all term..now everyone is doing rich media and has to learn stuff on the fly. I remember when i was doing motion graphics stuff and I didnt know illustrator. they said: "learn illustrator". then some 3d came along: "learn 3d". then working at a smaller shop. "learn product management, learn how to use gantt charts". at some point you have to shut off some of this and focus on where you want your career to go rather than what 37 signals (or any company for that matter) suggests.
