I think this is a truly valuable enumeration/quantification of the online participation process! Thanks- I'll definitely refer to this in the future.

Alyvia- yeah it's tough, funny thing for me was inverting the question, from where to what. Like, literally, what activities do I want to do all day. Me? I love the post office and packaging things. Favorite bit of being an author was making those packets and sending them off. Envelopes, printing, "office work"- it's all good.

I think it's tough to say why you are defriending- I just defriended someone on FB because I acknowledged to myself that I didn't enjoy her company at dinner, rarely talked to her, so why be up on every little status change? Or when you're breaking up with someone, do they really need to know why you defriended them? It's kind of obvious. I think the more people use social networks the more they realize that it's easier to not add acquaintances in the first place. Question for you- while Andrez wasn't notified of being dropped, did he see you in his friendlist? In other words, is the functionality bidirectional or just unidirectional?

Oh- thanks Matt! It's not in the footer, but at the end of a post, the individual post content, which users can't see, you can only see if you "view code" in the interface. I will change the db password, seems like the best idea.

Oh yeah, I saw that after I posted this - glad it's on. Now, we need more... have you seen the SNL skit making fun of iPhone ads, very precious.

CTM (as they write it on the scratchpad at Pakwan) has crack in it, I've decided. It is seriously addictive. We'll probably find out it's just condensed milk and ketchup.

You think Spinoza didn't believe in God? I think he did- in the sense that Nature is God- which he states quite clearly in Ethics.

To anybody who is reading this- the anonymous post above is Partha. I don't allow anonymous posts, but I know it's him so I'll let this slide.

Oof, I saw a guy at Ruby's drop his iPhone and the battery flipped out. A little part of me cried inside.

Yeah the MacBook was a big conversion for me too, then the Nano, now this. We're sucked into the Cupertino abyss!

Yeah. Talking to friend last night who said he was going to film in North Carolina- cheaper all the way around from SF. I have all of these ideas for cool locations- for Jiu Jin Shan. iMurder or Killerizr would be far easier to film here, tho.

Let's discuss @ the next one, how's that? I think we're OK going into 2008 but didn't think about it much after that. MOm did this list not me so I'm not guilty of any errors :)

WOW!!! You are so cool! I've asked dozens of folks and nobody found that.
Did some desultory investigation last night on the unfounded rumor that john denver was a wifebeater, and found some. But can I back it up here on this public forum? No, because I'm inundated with work - that's vacations for ya - fun while you're on them but hellish once back.

What was great was coming into a harbor I kinda knew, but from a totally different perspective- and you knew someone already there!
Yeah the coiled rope one worked out strangely. Had no idea when I took it that I'd like it when i downloaded it- isn't that weird?

Rocco it's funny - even though this is the less picturesque photo of the set, I love it the most. Like the guy waiting for a bus, the landmark clock, a random city sign. I love the city too :)

I like 901 Columbus better- there used to be a Truly Med on Columbus too but it closed. Yep it's a real place, and George is totally real too. Say hi if you go!
