I thought the picture was better this morning although the Liverpool result was not what I was looking for. Picture and audio were fine for me through the first two games.

Gaffer - I had to use the ITVN instructions to manually enter the IP address, subnet, etc. to get my gaming adapter to work. It wouldn't find the IP address automatically on my set up.

Overall I am pleased with ITVN and Setanta so far. Though I may bite the bullet and get direcTV to start 2007 (since I'll then be able to get FSC and GolTV too).

I got my Setanta via ITVN working tonight as well. Using a gaming adapter to get the settop box connected to a wireless network. My video results are similar to the earlier post using the composite cables. Unfortunately I don't have the option to go to component with my TV. Perhaps S-video cable, but I'm not sure I have an open input.

My audio level seemed a little low compared to other channels, but nothing worrisome.

All in all I'll have a big grin on my face when I watch Liverpool take the pitch tomorrow morning.

Best wishes to your team as well!

in IPTV and Setanta Sports: The Inside Scoop on EPL Talk
I found something on the ITVN site that mentions it works on a wireless G network with an adaptor (sold separately), but I couldn't find any information about the adapter needed. Anything you could find out about the adapter would be helpful. I'd also be interested in knowing if programming can be received via PC. I'm sure we'd all prefer to watch on a TV, but given the home network changes I'll need to make, it would be nice to be able to watch via PC in the short term. Thanks, and great work on getting the scoop for us.

in Chelsea’s American Tour Rated A Success on EPL Talk
I'd love to see more EPL teams visit the US for training and/or friendlies. I'd travel just about anywhere in the country to see Liverpool, but would be happy see/read about any other club than wants to come.

It might be interesting for Reading to visit since they feature a couple of American players on the roster. Even if they get relegated that's quite a marketing angle for a US trip.

The EPL Talk blog is always a good read, and Christopher's reports are excellent. Nice to have an insider posting reports especially since my local newspaper coverage has been nil.
