I agree, Dan, information found on Wikipedia or Google searches is not enough for students.

So, why complaining about that? Those sites wont be the resources of the best students.

This is a HORRIBLE update, users have to decide all the between the old and the new interface.

This makes the site almost unusable!

It sucks.

I love Apple products but have to say that the way they manage iPhone sales shows that they don't know how to manage their own success.

I don't think I need backlight if that makes the device thinner.

Imagine having several books there or a feeds reader... I can't wait to have one!

in iPhone - no hype in germany on http://www.gadgetguy.de
That's so true, the iPhone is so expensive here in Germany. To make things worse, we know the prices in the US, do they think people are silly?

The iPhone is a great phone but wonder if it would ever become a popular product in Europe...

I agree, Cameron. Something like Delicious works better in my opinion, then I don't have to depend on a specific browser.

Feedm8 is great, I like it so much because is so easy to set up and make you blog mobile. Although I would criticize a little bit their site:

in FeedM8 Offers Mobile RSS for Bloggers & Readers on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
If your blog is a WordPress one, you can use Andy Moore's plugin that creates a mobile version of your desktop-blog. It also lets you add ads and earn money from the mobile web. I described my experience with this plugin in my blog: http://www.designvsart.com/blog/2007/10/12/maki...

Adam Hirsch hey, this is interesting, I just started reading about Joomla. Do you know of any great sites that use Joomla or a great directory of Joomla addons?

From my point of view Google has made another good move as Jaiku seems to have a much more clear interface and, maybe, better chances to win European hearts. I would really like to test it! I wrote an article about Jaiku design: http://www.designvsart.com/blog/?p=58

in Zoho DB for Data Manipulation & Reporting on Zoli's Blog
That sounds good, but Zoho is not doing well with integration. For example, using Zoho Projects you are not allowed to import documents from Zoho Sheets or Zoho Writer.

I have also complaints about the way Zoho "organize" files, so I have my doubts about Zoho new products... I have posted my opinion about Zoho Docs and Google Docs in my blog: http://www.designvsart.com/blog/

in Nokia announces online music store - takes aim at Apple and mobile carriers on last100
I have a new Nokia E61 and I am very disappointed. Really, I can not imagine people using that user unfriendly system to install applications, listen to music and surf the web.
The whole phone is far from being a nice user experience. I am very happy that Apple is in the mobile market now.
