in Spore Daily Challenge #1: Odds or Evens on Spore Daily
I went with odds. Here is Spinder:

I wanted to try for as much symmetry as I could get with odd numbers. The part count is 1 mouth, 5 eyes, 5 limbs, 5 feet, 15 armor plates, and 1 Gemstone doodad. The toughest part was watching the complexity meter, although I wish there were a way to rotate the feet so they all pointed inward.

I love the way you've done Spinder's legs. I tried something similar in the Trial and gave up in frustration. ;)
Feet rotation would be useful, yes. I guess it was some kind of technical issue that stopped it being added. Your creature looks good with them angled outwards though!

You did well with the concept of your creature, I have thought about doing soemthing similar before but never got around to it. With 5 limbs it looks really good, perhaps the ideal number. I agree with the foot rotation though, particularly those feet, its annoyed me a few times already. Kudos for stepping up to the odds side of the challenge.

Anyway, I just wanted to say the MaxisKate is emerging as my early favorite for creature designers. Everything she makes seems to get marked as a favorite of mine as well.
