in CPA Exam Score Release Predictions - April/May 2009 Window - Wave 2 on CPA Exam Blog
Frustrated - I really feel for you. I haven't used Yaeger myself, but this board raves about it. When I took REG I used Becker and then supplemented with Wiley MC. That really helped a lot especially with the topics that I was fuzzy on (like basis). You are really so close. If you are strapped for cash I think that getting the Wiley book for less than $50 may be the trick. Also, when I worked the m/c I wrote down why I got the m/c wrong and reworked incorrect problems many times. I also didn't move forward until I understand why a m/c problem was correct. Good luck! You are almost there.

I think it also depends on your occupation…AUD was easiest for me because I am an Auditor.

Anonymous - I'm an auditor too, but I really struggled with AUD. Maybe because for every m/c there seemed like 2 right answers.

What is the difference between AICPA and NASBA release dates? Texas never seems to post scores on any of the prediction dates. Anyone have any insights on this? TIA!

I agree with Matt. When I took Audit, I was scoring in the low 80s for the practice exam, but on the real exam I scored a 91.

Yeah, last window (Jan-Feb) during the second wave, FAR came out 2nd. Don't know if that'll happen this time or not. I'm waiting for FAR myself. Then I'm done!

Chelle in MA - I used Becker, but really focused on understanding the m/c. I went over the m/c several times and focused on the ones I got wrong. I would print out each m/c that I got wrong and I would handwrite why I got it wrong and what I was missing. This really helped hone in on the areas that I was weak. I barely passed with a 77, but previous to that I had gotten a 62. You can definitely do this! You are so close!
