I completely agree with Gooner: Taylor sits until Eduardo can play again. And it's probably going to be a long, long time.

Otherwise, the message is this: Go ahead, be reckless, destroy a guy's leg, get a three-match ban and move on. Meanwhile, the other guy faces months of grueling rehab in an attempt to get back into shape and form. This is Eduardo's livelihood, his career, how he makes a living.

Players need to know that their reckless actions can impact other peoples' lives. This is not a minor thing. Going in on a tackle like that can end someone's career, in an instant. And if it does, or if it delays it for months on end, there must be ramifications beyond a three-match ban.

And I'm an Arsenal fan, so I was really hoping Liverpool could have gotten something out of this.

Spot on.

This tournament did show me one thing about the French: Their players must have been very good in the past, because Domenech is terrible. Terrible selection, terrible tactics. He needed to beat Italy yesterday, and played two holding midfielders and brought back Abidal, who was horrible against Netherlands. He got what he deserved. Now, he deserves to be sacked.

* Nick Webster was at Euro and appeared some on Fox Soccer Report. But it wasn't much.

* I agree that U.S. Open Cup matches would be good for FSC. And I'd have to guess the price wouldn't be too steep, since U.S. Soccer is getting $0 for them right now, with the exception of the final.

Congrats! I read elsewhere on the Internet that Arsene Wenger has already sent a scout and intends to beat Man U, Chelsea and Swansea City and have the wunderkind join my Arsenal. :)
