I believe that in addition to talented players, the ideal management team (or any team, for that matter) also must have these: mutual trust and respect, and shared goals. These are the keys to constructive debate, rapid problem and opportunity identification and action. Without them decisionmaking is threatened, and the team is merely its components rather than something more than the sum of its parts.
