River could kill Sarah with her brain...but then John Connor would find out about it, send the River Tam/Summer Glau version of the Terminator back in time to kill River (which would probably be a more interesting match up). That whole time traveling mamma's boy protective thing kind of takes the fun out of it. But head to head, minus the time travel crap, Sarah doesn't stand a chance.

This was a good show (not Emmy caliber, but a heck of a lot better than any number of CSI/Law & Order type shows that seem to last forever) before CBS screwed around with time slots and more reality shows.

There was an article on MSN about the peanuts bringing the show back a few weeks ago, and the head exec at CBS said that while they are aware that a lot of fans watched the show on TiVo (or DVR) and online, the only thing that matters for a possible 3rd season is "live" viewers. I think the Neilson rating system is in serious need of an upgrade. Any ideas?

Favorite all time: Five Iron Frenzy (I never grew out of the ska kick of the late 90's, and these guys were my favorite.) However, they saw the light and realized ska was dead and broke up. Ah well. At least I'll always have the CD's and mp3's.

I would have to agree with Firefly. If that show had been on the sci-fi channel, it'd still be on today. Sadly, it was on FOX.

And I had almost forgotten about Space Above and Beyond. I'm going to have to search for that DVD. Another FOX sci-fi letdown.

I'm not ready to get my hopes up for another Whedon show on FOX. The chance that they'll give up on it after 7 weeks in favor of yet another reality show is too high.

I have a strange attraction to scary movies, too, and most of them don't bother me. However, "Poltergeist" is the one that I remember being the freakiest, most likely due to the fact my father let me watch it when I was five. Scared the sleep out of me.

The only other movie (so far) that got to me a little in my adult years was "White Noise". I had to make sure I shut the speakers off on the computer, and made sure the radio was off before getting some sleep there for awhile after watching that one.

CBS pulled the same stunt last year with Jericho and ended up saving the show only after getting tons of nuts mailed to them after they tried to cancel it. The networks never learn.

Jack Bauer does deserve a lot of love, but my favorite would have to be Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis) from The Shield. Although, if Life continues to be as good as it has been so far, Charlie Crews might replace him (at least until Season 7 of The Shield starts next year).

All time favorite: Hoban "Wash" Washburne (Alan Tudyk) from Firefly (FOX should never have cancelled that show).
