I would have thought Facebook, Twitter, then Linkedin. Very very interesting!

Re: The New Media Lifecycle and Social Discovery

I totally agree with what you said "The reality is that a valuable community that I feel connected to is most important." We can spend a lot of time at these social sites and not be very efficient but if we evaluate where we can be most effective is where we should spend our time!

Re: OMG BBQ Chrome v Firefox v Safari Benchmark

Wow very interesting test. I personally use Twitter, Plurk and FriendFeed and like all of them for different reasons.

Thanks for the post!

Re: 2008/07/14/how-to-monitor-your-brand/

Great tips here that I have used before but you have put them into great perspective. I don't think there is some magical subconscious level that people knowingly don't want you to make money but then again who know really, this could even be seasonal or circumstantial (i.e. the down economy) you can read into it many different ways. I still believe that if you provide great content and have built great relationships of trust people will always be willing to help you (or give you money)!

What you might want to look at is the number of Unique New visitors that you received during this test, and see how many were totally new visitors, this could play a role in the numbers because these people didn't know or trust you.

Just some thoughts.

Thanks for the great test Paul.

Garrett Pierson
YourSEOMentor.com

Re: What Traits Define a Social Media Marketer?

Wonderful list Tamar and Thanks. I know from a fact that Social Media Marketing is a huge tool for not only me but my clients as well. As with every website especially a social networking site they can be abused. So a small few ruin it for the rest of us, but this shouldn't shy anyone away from using the tool.

Re: Twitter Poll: Ultimate Time Waster, or Great Tool?

Thanks for the Poll Lee, Personally I think it can be both depending on how you are using it.

Re: Rushing Your SEO Doesn’t Mean Quicker Results

Loved the article Lee!
