I would go see a remake of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. They better not remake Goonies, I don't think they can capture the feeling and mood of that movie...I don't think anything reminds me more of being a kid at that specific time than the Goonies. I liked the Tejas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween, still gory and awesome.

I agree with you, it seems like emotional abuse to me. The article said that the teacher had attended the student's IEP meetings, so she likely knew about the potential asperger's diagnosis. To me, this demonstrates the lack of education of our teachers concerning childhood disability. The teacher obviously didn't know how to manage a classroom with a child like Alex in it. She made the wrong decision, and I hope whatever action is taken makes this very clear to her.
