I was looking at one of the Related Entries -- the one about a guest blogger. You specify that the person has to be a US citizen -- why? It's interesting sometimes to get the views of non-citizens, especially on our politics here in the US. Just a thought...

I think from now on, "Sudden discharge" is going to be my response to every question I'm asked. I think it sounds like a good way to get people to stop bothering me. ;-)

I never take 695 anywhere...for any reason. 83 all the time, and 95 all the time. I never run into traffic on 95 unless I'm headed to DC. But that's to be expected, I suppose.

Just for the record -- I have no plan to "go" anytime soon...

It's way past the time for American to move on. We shouldn't have been subjected to all of this in the first place.



God, when it's my time to go, just PLEASE let me go. I never want to endure what this woman went through. How incredibly tragic.

If it was me, I would want to die with as much dignity and grace as possible...not writhing and drooling on national TV.



This, to me, is why having a living will is so important -- make *sure* your family knows what you expect. Have it in writing so there's no room for interpretation.



Worst case scenario, I hope my daughter just trips over the cord and pulls the plug, so to speak, by accident...if nobody's willing to do the deed on purpose. Honestly. I don't want to go out like this poor woman.

Actually, quite a few people use it. I'm not one of them, but those people are out there -- along with the ME users (my condolences to them...) So I would expect they're grateful for the few pages that still offer info on those topics.



That's the wonderful thing about blogging -- there's *always* an audience, no matter what your topic.

Glad your new job is working well -- I've been busy, too -- cramming in as much work as possible so I can take the summer off again. :-)

Well I have to say...if the Port of Baltimore doesn't increase its security, we're in for big trouble. I won't go into detail, but I was down there one day last summer, and let's just say that I was able to meander about with nobody ever questioning who I was or what I was doing there, especially considering I had a camera in my hand.

I like Cartography -- the brown one. It's very easy on my eyes, which seem to hurt all the time now. :-(

I've never understood the "unauthorized linking" thing, either. Suddenly you have to ask for permission to link to someone's site? Umm..I don't THINK so. Good grief -- how incredibly time-consuming that would be, especially for bloggers who tend to use a lot of links.

I have a hard time taking anyone seriously who claims to be Native American when they're really...not. Apparently Mr. Churchill is a few sandwiches short of a picnic, and in my parents' day would have been booted out and labelled a "crackpot".



I think that would be quite a fitting end to Mr. Churchill's delusions, really. Quite fitting indeed.

I think it's lovely. Very clean and open, not cluttered. A+!
